Great Perspective on Southern History, April 5, 2011
This review is from: Sam Bradley Chronicles (Paperback)
I read your book and was particularly interested in the early parts of it describing how the early Bradley's arrived, set up homes, and tried to get along with the battles over control of the colonial government. It gave a perspective that doesn't come out of text books, and paints a picture in your mind that rings very true to how it must have been. I appreciate you recording this, because it would be a shame for such recollections and accuracies to get lost in the `noise' of the history as we were taught it, vs. history as it happened. . We take too many of our freedoms for granted, claiming that Americans have always had certain rights - which is far from the truth.
