This book is really cute. It's a great book for beginning readers. It's a bit wordier than the very simple beginning reader books so the younger ones will need some help. The story itself is adorable. Sam is a puppy & he she goes on a car ride with her owners. When they come to a stop light Sam decides that the car is not going fast enough & jumps out of the car. Sam has a fun time exploring the city & causing all kinds of havoc. Soon he realizes that he can't find his owners car & decides that they are lost & sets out to find them. The pictures are really cute & the story is fun for kids. I'd highly recommend this book.

We've been reading about Sam for three years now and both of our boys (6 and 9) still love it.
