Loved by elementary and preschool too,

This review is from: Samantha the Swimming Fairy (Rainbow Magic: The Sports Fairies, No. 5) (Paperback)
My 2nd grader started reading these books, and got her 3-year-old sister hooked on them, too. We read them together and they both love this series. The books follow a familiar formula in which Jack Frost steals some magical fairy item and Rachel and Kirsty must help the fairies save the day. They are light reading but always entertaining. We read them over and over.

Good for sensitive kids,

Elementary-school-aged girls love these books. My girls start reading them as soon as they're unwrapped! Not exactly literary masterpieces, but kids find them interesting and funny. The stories are always light - good for sensitive children who aren't yet ready for (and might tend to avoid reading) books that are scary or upsetting.

We love the whole rainbow magic sets. My daughter collects them all. Love these books and the sports theme of them.
