Upbeat and enjoyable,

Being a fan of bossa nova and dance music, I was intrigued by this CD. Overall the music is very upbeat w/busy percussion and a tropical/outdoorsy feel. The Brazilian component is more influential than predominant, as the core music here is dance. Particularly good songs are #4, 8, and 12. If you are interested in listening to some Brazilian-influenced dance music, you may enjoy this CD.

Samba Lounge is a great collection of house music with a Brazilian flavor.top tracks are Racoon's E Luande, Malena's "Para Ti", Afro Brasil Project's "Espirito de Brasil". A must have.

I like listening to this for general listening as well, but it's especially fun for dancing. It's fast, energetic music, so you probably won't be able to go through more than two or three songs before you need to take a break for something slower.
I really only disliked #10; the rest is fun dance music. #4 and #12 are my favorites. |
