I've used this tis product for many years and it seems to work well for me, reducing colds and other virus systoms.

I started getting sick yesterday. I have horrible respiratory problems. A head cold usually migrates into my lungs resulting in missed work and a trip to the E.R. I started taking this at the onset of a cold yesterday. I don't feel 100% today, but much, much better than I would have been if I had taken Nyquil. I am shocked that it's working. I haven't had much luck with homeopathic remedies in the past.

I have been using Sambucol tablets on a daily basis for over ten years, ever since I came down with a horrible flu that immobilized me for weeks. I have never had that experience since, and I attribute that in part to this product. However, the last order that arrived, six months' worth of tablets, though marked "new improved taste" or something close to that, does not taste improved, though clearly "new". The berry flavor seems mostly gone, and the taste is more like peppermint than anything else. I hope this does not change the effectiveness but am disappointed in the flavor.
