I saw Jeff in concert in New York and was immediately hooked by his delivery of these timeless Cahn classics. He has a wonderful tenor voice that is well-suited to the songs on this disc, and that clearly coveys the emotions of the lyrics. I heartily recommend this cd to anyone who is a fan of cabaret, or of the music of Sammy Cahn.

After listening to this CD, I thought of how much "love" I felt from these songs, so I stopped to look up the meaning in the dictionary...Love - 'strong affection", "a beloved person", "to feel passion and devotion", "take pleasure in"....I'm quite surprised Jeff Harnar's picture wasn't part of the description!
"Sammy Cahn - All The Way" is another exquisite CD by an exquisite singer - Jeff Harnar! Every song is gorgeous, the interpretations stunning and meritable. This is one CD that will have you coming back for more...I have spun it 3 times and reveal in the orchestrations, the voice...oh my the voice....how can a man be so talented...?????? No wonder he was named BEST MALE VOCALIST.....!! A title he should win year after year... "It's Magic/I'll Never Stop Loving You" is 5 stars all the way... "My Kind of Town" -Jeff showcases this song like I've never heard before...I think he has one upped "Ole Blue Eyes" on this one....absolutely a masterpiece! "Love is a Bore"....when I got to the end and heard his range once more...I was shivering! And a special nod to "I'll Only Miss Her When I Think Of Her"...you got me on this one Jeff.....thank god I had tissues nearby.... If you don't purchase this CD....you will never know what LOVE feels like...or happiness...or what LIFE means...Jeff Harnar has brought to the table., a DISC that is nothing but EXCEPTIONAL in every form of the word! Thank you for bringing Sammy Cahn back to us...You have done this man proud....! And to agree with the words of Sammy Cahn...." Give me five minutes more!".....PERFECT!!! Love, Mo xo |
