They would usually get stuck and you would either have to use your finger to pull them out or shake the thing silly.

You can fill it up for one week or for the entire month and with the push of a button out they come ~ your pills for the day.

A better alternative would have been a sliding gate actuated by a rotating dial or some individual slider mechanism.

It's a great idea with very sorry execution. It's made from flimsy materials with little QC.

Probably the worst thing about it is the pushbutton design for dispensing pills. There are a variety of way this could have been done better. As it is, the pressure it takes to push the button is greater than what it take to just push the whole thing around the countertop if your using it with the stand. It's almost impossible to push with one hand while leaving you with a free hand to catch the pills as they come out. I try to hold a small cup under it but the little flap often hits it causing it to jam further.

A better alternative would have been a sliding gate actuated by a rotating dial or some individual slider mechanism. The way this is designed each button pushes against it's trap door near it's pivot point causing it to resist a lot and then pop open suddenly, all while having to hold the whole thing in place with your other hand. When the pills spill out there's only a narrow little trough that you might catch half of your pills in. And that's part of the flimsy stand. At the moment I don't have a place to wall mount it which may make it easier to use but I have a feeling I'd probably break it then.

I'm not elderly (yet)and I can barely manipulate this thing. I'd hate to have to try and use this thing with arthritis.

I was all excited about the SammyLife Vita Caddy, when it came. Easy to load and I could see all of the vitamins. But when I started to use it, I was disappointed. The tablets dropped down OK, but the gel capsules, like Vitamin A, C, D, and E get stuck and won't drop down.

So, I'm reverting to the old style vitamin pill indexes. This was a waste of money for me.

Easy to use, but the pushbutton mechanism that releases your handfull of pills is not as effective as it ought to be; it works better just to open the trapdoor with your thumbnail and let the pills fall out. Large gelcaps can sometimes get stuck but they usually fall out if you let the trapdoor slam shut and reopen it. Overall I am very pleased with this way to organize pills--MUCH nicer than those multi-compartment boxes. Very east to load. Ingenious design. Can mount on wall or affix to freestanding platform.

I was so very tired of opening over 10 pill bottles a day. The typical 5 day "pill boxes" wouldn't fit all of them and they cluttered my counter. I purchased this and mounted it on the inside of my kitchen cabinet. Wonderful! I am so very pleased with this product.

It works well with the following considerations; Certain vitamins that are in gel form can tend to get stuck to the sides of the compartments just the same as the do in any other container especially when humidity is elevated. Shaking or tapping on the unit once in awhile is recommended. One drawback is that you can see what you have queued up for the upcoming three weeks but you cannot easily see what is in the dispenser compartment for the days of the current week. This means if an item is stuck and does not drop when you push in the dispense button you would not know unless you count everything that comes out and then figure out what's missing. Again this only applies to the 'gel' type items that tend to be sticky anyhow. Otherwise I love this dispenser and it works well for me.

The concept is great but the follow-through falls a little short. I take A LOT of vitamins and the positive thing is they fit. That's a huge plus. The negative is that they get stuck when you try to travel them from week to week (my weird way of saying getting them to go to the next level when you move the lever). I've screwed up more than once and had to separate my vitamins (not an easy feat) when I did the wrong thing (tried to trick the system, so to speak). When you press a day sometimes the door gets stuck. I also don't like that there is NO AM/PM set up. You could, in a way, do it. But then you only end up with 2 weeks worth of vitamins. I opted to buy a second one which means, overall, I like it.

I DO wish, and listen carefully manufacturer, you could open the front rather than having to load a week's worth, move the lever, load the next week's worth, pull the lever, etc... (If you have a secret, please tell me.) Gosh that would make it easier and less wasteful when it comes to time!!!!!

Now I looked high and low and and have tried to find something and found this to be the best. Not stupendously great, but the best for me. Nothing was big enough to hold my vitamins (I'm NOT using one for my prescription meds and won't mix the two) except this. I feel they need to go back to the drawing board to do some fine-tuning and give all of us one to test out (or use Vine). JMO. :) Enjoy!

Eureka! I have been searching for this item for years. It is wonderful system for housing an entire month of your medication and dispensing your daily allotment at the push of a button. The compartments are spacious enough to hold a handful of pills including those foil wrapped vitamin chewy squares and giant gel-tabs/pills.

The Vita Caddy is simple to operate: The top opens, exposing the 7 compartments for 1 week. After filling with your pills/meds, slide the top lever to the side and the pills instantly drop down to the next level. You can fill it up for one week or for the entire month and with the push of a button out they come ~ your pills for the day.

Pros: Wonderful system

Cons: If you take several pills twice/day, like I do, you will need 2 ~ AM & PM
