I was really surprised by the quality of this statue. Even the packaging was excellent.

No trick, like you can see in the pictures. If you love this statue, this replica won't deceive you at all.

I recommend it, for sure.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. I'll admit that my expectations were a bit low at first, but when she unwrapped it, we were all impressed by the quality of work & attention to detail on this statue.

I would recommend it to anyone!

I ordered this statue for my father for Christmas because my mother will not let my father have a Winged Victory statue in the front yard. it is a beautiful piece.

I love statuary but cannot afford the real deal. So I must make do with reproductions. Especially for the more famous pieces, the quality of reproductions is a problem. Most turn out to be rather crude, with only a general resemblance to the original. I looked over many sites before selecting this one. I had only the picture as a basis for a choice, but it turned out to be good. The piece had been skillfully reduced in size from the original, which often leaves odd proportions in the repro (See any David reproduction for a great example). This Nike kept the grace of the original, the casting material was excellent, the detailing (usually another major flaw) was excellent, and the piece had not been washed in some sepia-toned coloring to highlight" details or make it look "antique". The result usually spoils an otherwise good piece. The particulars of the transaction were as they should be- quick shipping, prompt delivery, packaged well. I will definitely begin my searches for reproduction statuary with this vendor in future.

I read the reviews of this product that said it was well above expectations when they removed the packaging. They were right. When it came I couldn't have been more pleased with it. The quality of the molding and the marble finish on the resin cast is fantastic. I could say "for the price you can't go wrong", but that would not do this piece justice. The price is so low when compared to what you would pay for such a thing in a shop. I put mine on a plain oblong white marble plinth and the marble finish melded in with the real marble perfectly. I do think it needs a plinth of white marble to look its best. If you have always wanted a great little replica of this famous statue in the Louvre, this is the one to go for.

I ordered this statue as a gift and I was not disappointed. It is of good quality, packaged well, and I received it quickly.

Nike of Samothrace is deservedly popular and available in a variety of sizes, materials, and, alas, casting quality. I have both this figurine and approximately same-size hot-cast loose-wax much more expensive bronze version. Bronze Nike has its own appeal, but this resin Nike has finer details and no casting defects I noticed (bronze version has some).

Disclaimer: there are many different resin variations of Nike, this figurine looks very similar to the one I bought, but I bought mine elsewhere and cannot be absolutely sure that this item is the same as mine.
