5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, durable, excellent value. Extreme padding for laptops
First off, let me say this is one of the best laptop backpacks/bags that I have owned for around $60. This EASILY beats those Targus and Swiss backpacks that sell for $90. I have used this everyday for 3 months now, Monday to Fridays, at work and its been holding up well. There are lots of compartments to store your documents, pens, MP3 player, clothes, etc. You can even...

3.0 out of 5 stars Too big for daily usage
This bag looks like a carry-on suit case. Doesn't look like something that I can take to work everyday. It is so big that when I wear it (as a backpack), people will think I am going on trekking.

This bag is built well and has a lot of pockets and pouches. I have really not used it, so, I can't say how comfortable or convenient it is. Overall, I think the...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great business case, April 14, 2009

I am a professional sales person and wanted a backpack style case. Did not want to look like a college kid, if you know what I mean. I'm 45 and am no longer "cool" lol. I'm also an Apple Mac guy, so it's really hard to carry this Microsoft logo around, BUT it's well worth it. Everything has it"s place, fits great, carrys great and looks good. Only complaint is the big flap gets annoying. It covers all the non-laptop areas. Super easy to get your laptop out, but pain to get at notebook etc. But again, not a big deal.

What I like most about this backpack is the superior padding provided for the laptop.

Pros:
-lightweight
-cheap! $60!!
-durable
-comfortable
-lots of room

Cons:
-Not too stylish

Definitely recommended!

Overall, I think the design is not good. For example, there is a small pouch for your MP3 player. It will only fit a Sansa or Nano. Personally, I would like my music player easily accessible - like in my pocket - so I can easily and quickly operate it. How am I going to operate it if it is in a zipped pouch in a bag on my back with headset wires going though a port? Another example: There are two metal rings on either side of the bag. What are they for and how can I use them? If the instructions are provided, I couldn't find them.

It was not too hard to decide whether to keep it; I am returning it.

By the way, this bag is being sold elsewhere for twenty after MIR.
