From the Manufacturer
Samson Technologies began in 1980 as a pioneer in wireless microphone technology. Today, Samson is an industry leader in professional audio solutions whose products are known for their fidelity and reliability. Samson products are preferred by recording artists, performers, educators and audio professionals throughout the world.
Samson's Stage v266 Dual Handheld Wireless System
Designed for twice the versatility, Samson's Stage v266 Dual Vocal Wireless System let's you use two microphones simultaneously with a single receiver. It's the ideal wireless solution for two vocalists, karaoke, DJs or any application where two mics are needed.
At the core of the Stage v266 system is the SR266 half-rack dual VHF wireless receiver. The receiver's front panel features an RF channel indicator and a large rotary volume knob for each channel. Its rear panel offers two tuned antennas, as well as two 1/4-inch outputs for both mix and individual channel output options. The Stage v266 system comes with a 1/4-inch to 1/4-inch and a 1/4-inch to RCA cable.
The Stage v266 system includes two HT6 handheld microphone transmitters. Each transmitter features an H6 dynamic microphone element to capture clear, accurate vocals. Each mic operates for up to ten hours on a single 9-volt battery (two included) and offers a convenient audio on/off switch.
With the meticulous engineering, state of the art technology and impressive audio capabilities that are built into every Samson wireless system, the Stage v266 system ensures crystal clear operation and the most dependable dual-channel performance available.
Everyone Loves a Duet
The beauty of the Stage v266 system is that you can have both channels running simultaneously. This makes it perfect for a variety of scenarios where multiple voices exist, including bands with multiple singers. Beyond the system's ability to capture stunning vocals in musical settings, Stage v266 allows bands, duos and other small musical groups to add energy and movement to their performances.
Masters of Karaoke
The Stage v266 system is great for opening up your karaoke events to more people. With a second channel in play, you can spread out the stage and avoid people from crowding around a single mic to belt out those rock anthems or duet ballads. And when an MC is running the show, the Stage v266 system really helps with presentation and flow, eliminating the need to hand-off the lone mic after every song.
For DJs who work in teams, the Stage v266 system is a must. Whether at weddings, block parties or clubs, this wireless system allows one DJ to focus on hyping up the crowd, while the other supports him from behind the mixer. Or you can have two mobile DJs working different parts of the venue. Either way, the Stage v266 makes for a really versatile and entertaining DJ setup.

The first impression you get unpacking this set is that it's pretty lightweight. The microphones and the receiver have all plastic cases, and pretty thin plastic at that. Inserting a 9 volt battery in the microphones I was concerned that I might crack the thin, brittle (Styrene?) case. These are not mics you can bounce off the floor like a '58. (Not that I recommend doing that!) The receiver is light enough that if I was using it on stage, I'd want to tape it down with a hunk of gaffer's tape.
I plugged the receiver into my small PA, and the basement, and took the two mics around the house. Range was excellent; I wandered throughout the house with not gaps in coverage. With the PA down in the basement, I could still hear it while wandering around the second floor on the opposite side of the house. I don't think you'd have any problem at all on the average stage, or anywhere in a small auditorium.
Fidelity, though, was not great.Read more ›
Firstly, the packaging of the product is outstanding as is ALL Samson products. I can't believe I got it for the price I did. Best Buy had it on clearance for double what I paid for on Amazon... so great buy!!
Secondly, I unboxed it, all the components and items were included, well sealed in plastic wraps. The two mics feel very durable and have some weight to them. Not like some systems, where the mic is very light, doesn't have any "meat" or odd shaped. These mic's look normal with a steel wired and not plastic headcover.
Setting up the system took less than 5 minutes and I was already "TESTING 123, TESTING 123...". The clarity of voice is perfect and absolutley NO feedback, static, reverb, nothing... I even have the receiver tucked in one of the shelves on my High Boy Media Stand with antennas down, and it still works perfectly...
I got this system, because I've used Samson products before and they have never failed me. Well another product that has NOT failed me. Yes, I was looking at getting a SHURE wireless system, but couldn't justify shelling out ALOT of money for their system. I have the Samson system setup for "karaoke" at home. One thing to note though is the volume on the wireless receiver needs to be turned up to the max as well as MAX on my AMP.
Bottom line.. I've only had this wireless system for 1 day and its been great! Don't hesitate to buy... huge savings only here on Amazon.
The quality of the sound was OK. I did not find any noticeable noise, though. I use a Shure PG58 microphone for a home recording setup, but the quality of the sound was not comparable (PG58 was way better). However, in terms of the convenience, the SWV266SHT6U-321 beats the PG58. I connected the SWV266SHT6U-321 to my Yamaha MOX8 synthesizer and was very happy to use it as a microphone for a vocoder (FYI, you might remember that some commercial songs have robot-like-human-voice included and that voice was made by something called a vocoder). The Yamaha MOX8 synthesizer has a 1/4-inch microphone input and the SWV266SHT6U-321 connected without any problem. By using the basic microphone pre-amp and effectors built inside of the MOX8, I had some fun time with the SWV266SHT6U-321.Read more ›

I know samson as a great brand but these microphones don't fill my expectatives. You can not move over 9 feet because they loose the signal.Published 2 months ago by José Francisco Arriola Mansilla

Used it for a karaoke party at home. The included batteries died almost immediately but once replaced with new ones it worked fine. Audio quality is very good for casual use. Read morePublished 13 months ago by Vikram Kalyanaraman
