As a research professor I travel quite often and have been using this bag for a year now. I have had no problem with the handle getting stuck and I love the ease of mobility that the spinner wheels give you. Unfortunately, I am looking to replace this bag due to a frustrating design problem. In order to get anything out of the main compartment you have to completely unzip the bag, unzipping just the top part does not give you enough room to get to anything. But more frustrating is that the padded laptop holder is located in the front of the main compartment, so when you do completely unzip the bag, the heavy laptop flops forward causing the bag to tumble over.

I love this product. I travel every week and have tried many types of Computer bags, with and without wheels. Getting on and off planes, going through airports,in and out of cars, etc...I never could find the right type of bag. This one helps me remain organized, it's light, for a wheeled computer bag, and I can put things on top of it while a wheel it along my side. I love the spinner wheels because I don't have to drag it behind me. The size is perfect because it will fit below the airplane seat or in the overhead bins--my other ones won't. It's just large enough to hold all I need-not too big to tempt me to overstuff. I love the easy access to my laptop--it speeds up the security process.
I received the product on time.

I am an attorney with (surprise) lower back problems from carrying heavy litigation bags all the time. I got this bag on the advice of my physical therapist. The wheels are great, and it is true that it makes a big difference to have all the weight on the ground, rather than dragging a 2 wheeled bag behind you. However, this bag seems to me to be release 1.0, and needs some bug fixes. First, no outside pocket. Where do my coffee and water go??? Not even a pen easy to get to? Second, and a bigger issue, is you can't pull anything in the main compartment out, without laying the bag down and unzipping it all the way open. The laptop slot (nicely padded) is in the front, so when you unzip, the bag does tip over forwards immediately -- bashing you in the head with the handle unless you are paying attention. Twenty minutes work with a lawyer and Samsonite would have immediately seen these problems. Finally, when this bag is full of papers and computers and is heavy, the handles twist as you move the bag, leaving me questioning how long they are going to last. They do adjust marvelously for different heights, but they twist quite a bit, feeling weak. So.... lots of heavy stuff, and I'm not sure..... But outside of the handles, this is a bag built to last and feels weather proof (I live in wet Seattle) and durable. So.... some good some bad. I didn't see anything much better out there.

As a coach and keynote speaker, I travel a lot for a living. When I got tired of dragging my attache case around, I looked for a rolling one. I went to the store and tried several, and bought this one.
I've had it for several months now, and I absolutely love it! It's well-made, has convient slots for folders, laptops, business cards as well as pens and pencils. The handle extends and retracts flawlessly ... for the constant getting in and out of cars, taxis, planes, etc.
The only drawback that I've found is that I wish it came with a carry strap for those rare times when I have to pick it up and carry it. (Say, for example, when Northeast Ohio gets 2 feet of snow over Easter! This thing is good, but no rolling case is going to plow thru two feet of snow).
Overall, I would buy another one in a heart beat. (In fact, I'm thinking of getting my wife one for her birthday....shhh! don't tell her! ;-).
Probably the most user-friendly item I've purchase in several years. Highly recommended.

I researched extensively a wheeled briefcase since I tend to keep them a long time. First requirement this time: a spinner. Not a lot of choices in this area unless I spent $250+ dollars. The price was right on this Samsonite. I am happy with the space and organization in this briefcase for my laptop, iPad, cabling, file folders, etc. However, it is true, you must unzip the entire bag to get to your laptop. This is annoying when you are going through airport security. Additionally, when you unzip the entire bag, the weight shifts and usually the bag will not stand upright. Again, annoying. Lastly, you must work hard at using the "spinner" features. I do not know if the problem is the handle or the wheels or both. The handle is not rigid enough (very wobbly) to support easily "pushing" the briefcase; I tend to fight the handle's wobbiness to keep the wheels going the direction I want. I will keep the bag although I am disappointed the bag did not rate as high as the usual Samsonite standards.

This is a nice spinner bag. It is smaller than I expected because my previous bag from Samsonite was larger. One area I do have frustration with the bag is when I open the back compartment where the laptop is (and this may bother me because I fly so much), but in order to get the laptop out I need to fully unzip both sides and really spread it open to get the laptop out. With my old bag I did not have to do this. I am a road warrior, so it's too early to tell how the wheels and structure of the bag will hold up, but for now I am happy with it.

The Samsonite spinner mobile office works well, looks good and after a couple of months I'm still pleased with the purchase.
I don't like:
-I'm disappointed with the quality of the zippers, they don't feel as heavy-duty as I would expect from this sort of luggage. They work fine now but I'm concerned about the longer term durability.
-It is prone to tipping when the handle is extended and the case is open. The easy solution is to compress the handle before opening it.
-It's not as spacious as I hoped. This is mostly my fault, but buying online you can't inspect first.
-The outer material is of good quality, but I feel like it could be improved, time will tell...
-Despite the concerns above, it works for transporting my books and laptop to school, and I've already used it for a business trip; it fits nicely in the overhead.
-The zippers and everything else works well as expected.
-The case looks great, discreet but sharp at the same time.
I RECOMMEND this product to folks who need a case to transport heavy books to/from work or school, but depending on how many you need to carry, you should determine whether the case offers enough capacity to meet your needs. I also RECOMMEND this as an overnight traveler, for those who can really travel light.

This bag is perfect for a professor, especially one who (like me) frequently has to walk long distances to reach her workplace! The 4 wheels work beautifully and the bag can be pulled, pushed, or it can go along beside you sideways. It moves in any direction in any way! It has a small compartment in front for cards, pens, pencils, etc., another zippered compartment where I keep my record book and general things, and a large zippered compartment with five divisions that really permits me to organize materials so that I can find them for a change! It holds much more than any other bag I've tried, the zippers work well, and the telescoping handle goes all the way down readily.

I like the idea of this bag... But I find it shocking the zipper of the main pouch (where the computer is) broke after six months. For a road warrior tool, this is not acceptabel, particularly from a "brand" name. I have dealt with the the teared zipper for three months, but now the zipper broke entirely, so I can't use this anymore. Maybe I got a lemon, but I am highly annoyed.
A few other design issues:
- The telescopic handle is pretty unsteady, and some of its screws on top are coming loose easily (I had to tighten them twice, and no, I don't dance around in airports)
- you can't unload your computer without unzipping the pouch all together... In which case the bag doesn't stand up anymore (bad overall balance)

I owned this model for 7 years, hauling it through snow and rain. The zipper finally broke because I stuffed to much into it too many times. After searching for a replacement, I bought this same model because it really meets my needs. I like the pockets and divided sections. Because I teach in a smart room, I don't carry a laptop, but do need books, teaching materials, and folders of papers to grade and return. The briefcase holds a lot of things and helps me organize, too. There is plenty of storage for dry erase markers, pens, pencils, and band-aids. Most importantly, this spinner is easy to transport as I can put it in front of me or on my side and just walk without pushing or pulling as it glides along, which saves my shoulders and back.
