It is a good size for travel, but very unsteady after loading. This luggage will not stand, which is unfortunate. The company should add a support bar, as they have underneath the bag, at the bottom by the wheel: 1) to protect the fabric underneath, close to the wheel. 2)The fabric start to wear off because of non protective device. I am planning to whrite to the company and letting know about this design.

I had a similar duffel by another maker that fell apart, so I ordered this as a replacement. It's much sturdier than my old one, and I think it will last a long time. I'm constantly amazed how much I can get in it. I have to be careful when flying not to go over the 50 lb limit. When I think it's full, all I have to do is close it up, set it up on end, and then when I unzip the top, there's always room for more stuff, since everything settled to the bottom. I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional suitcase.

Now that airlines are trying to earn as much income as possible through nuisance fees (such a baggage fees) consumers need to be careful about the size of their luggage. Many airlines now have limits on the size of your luggage: 62 linear inches (length+width+height) This duffel is 64 linear inches! This means that a pesky ticket agent could charge you an oversized luggage fee, which would be a definite bummer. I was thinking of buying this for an upcoming trip, but no thanks. I can't believe that the manufacturer has exceeded the size limit!

This is perfect. It is large enough to hold a lot of items yet, it folds to store easily when I don't need it. Great quality!

I read the other reviews and would agree this bag is a bit big and cumbersome for air travel. But I use it to carry sports equipment around on a daily basis. This bag survived weather and heavy loading (40-80lbs) for almost 3 years. Most bags have zippers or wheels that break down on me within 2-4 months. Not this one. As far as I'm concerned, for every day local travel with heavier items, you are not going to find a better duffel. Tried more expensive bags from High Sierra and Ful, and there was no comparison as both bags resulted in broken zippers and wheels very quickly.

I ordered the wheeled Samsonite duffle bag shown since it was identical to that I wanted to replace. Unfortunately when the duffle bag arrived it was not the same style as that I ordered. Amazon was kind enough to courier me "another bag" intendended to be the correct style. However, I received the same wrong style bag again. Apparently, the style I selected was no longer availabe but it was inadvertently still being shown online. Hopefully the error has now been corrected.

I never received the bag I wanted but was able to return the incorrectly shipped ones without problem. Although a nice duffle bag, the incorrectly shipped one did not have the specific features of the old duffle bag that I liked and specifically wanted.
