This is great to take to meetings, for $20 I wasnt expecting anything amazing but this looks great. Nice construction, extremely stylish and professional. Dont waste your money on anything else.

Pardon the "Dumb and Dumber" reference, I couldn't resist. I came online looking to buy some sort of leather padfolio. I wanted professionalism and a notepad to write notes during meetings.

One previous reviewer referred to the item as" flimsy". The item itself is not entirely rigid like a hardcover book, but it definitely isn't completely flimsy either. I would call it slightly pliable, like what you'd experience with a thick plastic 3-ring binder.

Pros

+ Professional black leather w/ good texture

+ Low price compared to similarly functioning products

+ Included note pad can easily be replaced by standard legal pads

+ Calculator and 2 pencil holders, and a couple of other pocket slips for I don't even know

+ Solid stitching

Cons

- Says Samsonite on the cover, on the included notepad, and discreetly all over the inner lining.

- Large inside pocket is unlikely to accommodate more than 30 pages (I get easily this many pages in one conference)

Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of this product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable professionalism. I knew that I was buying a Samsonite product and that it would be labeled as such. But I would've preferred no brand name label. I think it's unusual because when most people think of Samsonite, they associate it with luggage.

I read other product reviews and decided with this portfolio. Not too impressed, looks good but the inside pocket room is very tight. Also, entire product feels really thin and weak. I don't have to much high hopes for this lasting too long but it does look sharp and professional.
