I have a Dell XPS15 and this bag is a perfect fit. At about 2 pounds is not to heavy and provides a decent level of cushion, about 1/4inch all the way around. There is enough space in this bag to carry the charger, mouse, a book or two and a seemingly endless number of cables I use.
The top loading feature makes it almost impossible for things to fall out if the zippers are not closed completely. Even though the second gusset zipper goes 3/4 of the way around the bag there are flap to prevent small items from being lost as yo uhurry through an airport.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I use this every day as a high school teacher. I got it at the beginning of the school year in september and have used it daily through January. A couple of the seems are coming loose and the padding on the shoulder strap is falling off. This makes the shoulder strap very uncomfortable. The seems falling apart have not caused any problems, but I am assuming that the rest of the seems will eventually become weaker as well. Amazon offered a refund which I accepted and will try out another one. Maybe I just got a bad one??
