5.0 out of 5 stars Business case
I have a simular Samsonite bag that is 2 years old and it was time to replace it. I travel a lot and I am hard on these bags.
I really like several updated features on this new model. 1. Feet at each end adds stability and keeps case in shape when towing another bag. 2. With the handle extended and another case riding on top, the case naturally leans back so when...

3.0 out of 5 stars I've Owned Better
I've owned one of these Samsonite rolling laptop bags for two or three years -- a black model. When the handle would no longer either retract or extend all the way, I searched for a replacement. This one has the same fine wheels that earlier versions had -- rolls very smoothly -- but the handle seems, if anything, less sturdy. In addition, the bag itself seems not as...

I have a simular Samsonite bag that is 2 years old and it was time to replace it. I travel a lot and I am hard on these bags.
I really like several updated features on this new model. 1. Feet at each end adds stability and keeps case in shape when towing another bag. 2. With the handle extended and another case riding on top, the case naturally leans back so when you stop the bag on top stays put. With my old case the bag on top would fall forward. 3. The zippers and piping are heavy duty and better constructed. 4. It is easy to load and has plenty of room. The upgraded wheels make it easy to pull even with another bag on top.

I paid less than $100 for this bag and it is much nicer than my old one! I would highly recommend this bag.

3.0 out of 5 stars I've Owned Better, September 28, 2011

This review is from: Samsonite Gray 9 1/2" Triple Gusset Portfolio (Electronics)
In addition, the bag itself seems not as strong. One side tends to wrinkle or fold in when standing open, making it difficult to see or even access items in some inside pockets. This model, made in China, both looks and feels cheaper and less functional than the one I had previously. It works -- it's okay -- but I've owned better.
