4.0 out of 5 stars Folding the cart
This is a convenient, compact luggage cart, but a little tricky in closing it down. It does get frustrating trying to fold it up when everything you do doesn't work.

Here's how to do it:
1. Fold the feet up into the legs by pressing the silver button down by the hinge of each foot.
2. Press the button on the handle to collapse it down, but do not...

1.0 out of 5 stars samsonite micro mover luggage cart - don't waste your money
This luggage cart is a waste of money. It wobbles terribly and the strap to secure your luggage must be manually resized each time it is used. An elastic bungee-cord type would be much more helpful.

This is a convenient, compact luggage cart, but a little tricky in closing it down. It does get frustrating trying to fold it up when everything you do doesn't work.

Here's how to do it:
1. Fold the feet up into the legs by pressing the silver button down by the hinge of each foot.
2. Press the button on the handle to collapse it down, but do not push it all the way down. If you do collapse it all the way down, the button will pop up. Push the button down and the handle will pop up a little.
3. With the name and logo facing you, pull the handle towards you so that it pops out of the frame and comes toward you. (The cart is locked in position if the handle was pushed all the way down, so the top button must be pressed to loosen the handle).
4. The wheels will fold inward and the handle will pivot down between the legs.
5. With the feet in the frame, they will tuck in under the shell at the top and fit in the notches of the handle on the bottom.
6. Push the handle down to lock the carrier in the closed position and stretch the bungee cords around the cart.

TA DA!

5.0 out of 5 stars Samsonite Micro Mover Fold Away Luggage Cart, February 15, 2007
This review is from: Samsonite Micro Mover Fold Away Luggage Cart (Apparel)
This item solved a real problem. I could buy a lightweight computer briefcase and have the option of rolling without the bulk of those heavy rolling computer cases.

I had been looking for a small rolling computer/briefcase. All the rolling computer cases are so heavy and much to large for just a computer and a few files. Also, lifting those heavy rolling cases into the overhead has injured my back.

As a short woman business traveler the computer gets heavy to carry when making connecting flights running from gate to gate.

This item makes it easy to roll and I might add the rollers are as good if not better than the rolling computer cases I have. Very smooth roll.

I have brought 2 so I have one for both brand new beautiful leather Briefcases. Thank you samsonite. Now if someone would realize laptop computers are smaller and make a smaller rolling computer case they could make alot of money. They do not have to be as big and heavy as a piece of luggage.

This is the only folding cart I have found that is small enough and light enough to easily go into carryon luggage. I got tired of the airlines changing the rules everytime I found a rolling bag I liked, so I purchased this cart in order to use it with any bag. It will not carry hundreds of pounds, but for wheeling a carryon bag through the airport I find it very practical.

I am an airline pilot and often find myself lugging my heavy chartcase to and from different airports around the country. I have been bringing my roll-aboard (overnight bag) for the sole purpose of acting as a cart to carry my chart case on those days I don't even have an overnight. I purchased the Samsonite Micro Mover for many reasons. It folds up to be very compact and extends easily to a decent height for someone as tall as me. (I am 6'2"). It is very light and portable. It is absolutely...well... perfect for toting around the chart case for those local and day trips. Thanks aaahhh, .. Swenson, ... Simpy .. S S Swanny... Swinson.. ah, Swan..Swanson?? OH SAMSONITE!!! I was way off! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars The solution to my problem..., January 21, 2008

I travel quite often, and when I don't check in my small suitcase, I can carry my laptop bag (which on trips weighs much more than on average days, because I'm carrying power cord, GPS and other stuff) ot top of the little suitcase around the airports.
But when I travel with a big suitcase for longer stays, and I have to check in that one, I'm left carrying my heavy laptop bag on my shoulder during what are usually longer travel days, on big airports, etc.
Well, this little cart has come to solve my problem for those trips. I carry it in the side pocket of my big suitcase, and when I check the suitcase in, I take out the cart and enjoy the marvel of not having to carry my laptop on my shoulder the rest of the trip.
I've seen some posts talking about the cart being hard to open up and close down. Not true. You just have to get the hang of it, and with two or three times of practice, you got it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for whoever designed this thing!

I needed something compact to wheel a briefcase with a laptop through the airport for a 7 hour layover. This was perfect. It actually fit in my briefcase when not in use.

It is very sturdy for a something that folds into such a small package.

The handle was a little short but not short enough to have to bend over to wheel it. I'm 5'10". Although if it was a little longer it would not have fit in my briefcase.

It folded according to the directions. Without them it would have been difficult. After a couple of times it became easy. It's not a 2 second job like a build in (just push down the handle) but it took be about 15 seconds on average.

Having read the helpful hints on folding the cart in the reviews here, I had no problems folding the cart. The diagrams on the products information card are helpful if you pay attention to details. The cart works well and wheels smoothly. At first I thought elastic cords would have been easier than the strings on the cart to secure luggage. But after I figured how to make it work, I realize the strings are more secure because they won't expand under force and give the luggage a chance to fall out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, July 8, 2007
I needed it in a hurry, had it shipped 2nd day air,, and it was well worth the extra $$. Took me a little while to figure it out, but once I did, it was easy. It fit in my backpack and weighs next to nothing.

I bought this despite some comments that it was difficult to fold back up. Nothing could be further from the truth! The instructions were very clear - all drawings, no words. This little gadget unfolds easily and folds back up almost as easily. What's really nice is that it locks all back together, so there are no pieces flopping about. It's extremely compact, sturdy, relatively lightweight (and especially so considering how sturdy it is). I bought this to cart a box of wine on board a cruise ship, and it will work like a charm. I've already given it a test drive. Way to go!

This luggage cart was just what we needed to carry a PA Speaker to our car. After putting speaker in car it folds up, taking very little room. Returning to our apartment, it is stored, setup & ready to repeat on another day.
