On my 1st use the luggage broke. The bottom of the 26 inch suitcase broke and now will not stand by itself. I bought samsonite because i thought it was goin to be dependable i was wrong.

I guess I relied too much on the Samsonite name. I do now find the quality of this set to worth the price. The fit and finish are poor and the zippers do not work smoothly. I would NOT purchase this item again.

I've had this set for almost 3 years and have traveled on average once a month with the two rolling bags and smallest bag. The black does get dirty but is not hard to clean. We're not too hard on our Luggage, and mostly travel by car, but our set shows very little wear to date. The quality is good though I know that you can spend more money and get awesome quality. I would buy this set again.

I purchased this luggage for my oldest daughter as she is a world traveler. She used it on a recent trip to Ireland and it was the perfect set. She needed several smaller pieces for ease of travel and yet large enough to carry everything needed to last for three weeks. The luggage is durable and versatile and was a great price.

Only problem was recognizing it at baggage claim: other people seem to agree!

When I decided on Samsonite luggage (not just the set of 5 no-name brand from JC Penney's like we've always had) I was wanting to go with quality that would last. I do like the biggest suitcase - it expands and looks nice and the zippers seem to work. The smaller suitcase is not the same. It does not expand. You better not put one thing in it that goes over the top in the least or you won't be able to zip it shut. My second time using it the zipper already separated. I was able to fix it, but that is just not what I expected to happen. Like I said, my no name brand suitcases have lasted for 10 years and finally just gave out, but never had a zipper problem. Haven't used the smaller duffels, the smallest toiletry bag seems fine.

A beautiful, functional, usable, noticeable set of luggage. I love everything about it and I am very happy with my purchase. Sizes are perfect for any type of travel. The fabric and construction is outstanding! Rollers and handles - excellent.

I've never owned luggage before, but I've used my parents luggage that must have been from the 70s'. Now maybe this is really great luggage, or maybe my parents' luggage is absolutely terrible, but these bags fit my needs. I suppose the real test will be if they survive my fast approaching move across four states while riding in the back of a Uhaul. They have far more storage space that I could have imagined, which is great because it let's me cut down on moving boxes. I'll have to update this after the move with details on how it survived the interstate punishment.

Alright so I've put this luggage through a couple business trips now, and the suitcases have held up to the wear and tear. The smaller bag has a rip in the cloth, but I don't hold that against the luggage. I'd buy this set again.

This luggage set is way more worth than what it costs. Stick to samsonite - they know what they are making. Used 26'' baggage during my travel to india, stuffed with 32kg weight which withstood the battering, yet in perfect condition without any wear and tear!!

I bought this luggage and am very pleased with it! It is an excellent price for a 5 piece Samsonite luggage set. I used the 2 rolling suitcases and cosmetics bag on my last trip. It was great to snag the smaller suitcase onto the larger one with the strap as I traveled. Very convienant! Apon my return flight, the bottom of my luggage (the little standing feet opposite of the wheels on the bottom) had broken. One was completly gone and one was hanging on barely. I emailed Altman Luggage Company and recieved EXCELLENT customer service. They responded quickly to my email and less than 7 days later I recieved the replacement luggage! They responded that this was an usual problem and were very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend buying from them. The luggage price and service can not be beaten!
