Is the screen matted? I want to avoid are glossy screens like the Apple Thunderbolt Display. Jun 26, 2014
I have the 23.6 inch version. The frame and base is gloss however the screen itself is matt. I assume the 27 in is the same.
Would an LED monitor be better than this? I love the look, but just realized this was LCD 9 hours ago
Not sure...but I found this online: Despite having a different acronym, an LED TV is just a different type of LCD TV. The proper name would actually be "LED-backlit LCD TV," but that's too much of a mouthful for everyday conversation, so people generally just refer to them as LED TV's, which can cause confusion. If your computer (Mac or PC) has HDMI or VGA connections, this will work. I cannot imagine you would encounter an issue.
The screen is matte. I have a window open behind me most of the day and it does not reflect at all. No speakers. Has audio out.
