Bluetooth is crippled,

This review is from: Samsung A437 Gold Phone (AT&T) Version 1 (Wireless Phone)
The bluetooth capabilities of this phone are severely crippled.
Only headset and hands-free is supported. It is not possible to connect it to a computer through a bluetooth adapter or have a phone-to-phone connection. To connect it to a PC, a direct USB cable and a Samsung software package is required.

I wanted to continue using my car charger and this gives me a second home charger. It weighs only 2.8 oz. Its very sleek and light. I only need a phone to call people. If you want a good basic phone its pretty good. The first one still works but the screen became damaged by one of my teens (sat on it). Anyway, it was an inexpensive option and most of the replacement flip phones are heavier.
