Good headset but not great.,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Samsung WEP850 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I have gone through tons of bluetooth headsets for work before I settled onto this one. I use a bluetooth headset for a nextel at least 8 hours a day. This headset looks very sleek and cool. It even feels pretty comfortable even after prolonged use. However there are a few weaknesses about this headset. For starters, the sound isn't that great. Sometimes I hear static and crackle and sometimes it sounds like someone is talking into your hear through a plastic cup. Also if you have two devices connected, sometimes the other device's transmission will take over the current transmission. I was talking on the phone and my nextel connection booted my phone call. Other then these few issues the headset is pretty good.
Pros: Long battery life Pretty comfortable after prolonged use Looks cool Not too many annoying status sounds and beeping Easy to connect Cons: Earhook takes up quite a bit of space Sound isnt that great Doesnt stay to one wireless connection Lacks a dedicated power switch

2 Tries And No Luck,
This review is from: Samsung WEP850 Bluetooth Headset (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I purchased this else where with [...]. Big Mistake!
Sound quality on my end is fine but call recipient complains either static/metalic interference or that I sound like I'm in a tunnel. I RMA'd the first one, and the replacement exhibits the same problems. This is strange as the WEP700 was one of the best units I've owned (until I lost it). I immediately tested the replacement WEP850 via my Voice Mail - SAME PROBLEM as the original WEP850! Phone: ATT Tilt / HTC Kaiser (latest stock ATT ROM Build of WinMo 6.1) Phone tested and works with WEP700 and Plantronic Model. Fails as described with WEP850 Update - just tried on my laptop with bluetooth & Sound Recorder (and then Audacity.) Choppy, but less audio issues. Just some dropouts (not a good thing but different from experience with phone.)

Is really bad product with a nice presentation.
