I purchased this lamp to replace the burned up lamp in my Samsung DLP television. Replacement was simple, took less than 5 minutes. No special tools necessary. The picture looks every bit as good as it did with the previous bulb.

I bought a replacement DLP lamp from Discount DLP TV Lamps and the lamp burned out in 29 days. The company was lax in responding to the return and eventually I had to return the lamp on my own nickel and they still haven't replaced the lamp or returned my cost--$140+ in addition to about $28 shipping the burned out lamp back to them. Amazon, although they talked a big game about guarantee has been no help and does not respond to emails about this issue. I suggest you buy somewhere else other than Amazon and from someone else other than Discount TV Lamps. I hate to have o write a review like this, but I have been left high and dry.

These bulbs suck!!! The first one blew out in 5 months. There policy allows for a replacement bulb if the first one fails within 6 months. How convenient. The second one blew out in 1 month!!!! That's right. One f'n month!! I sent them an e-mail a week and a half ago to allow them the opportunity to be a stand-up company and rectify the situation and no reply. Not surprised at all. These guys are a ripoff. Don't do business with them. There bulbs are knock-off's and not genuine Samsung DLP lamps made by Philips. I got my new one in Orange, CA at TV Lamps for Less. Do business with them instead, as they sell genuine Samsung replacements. You can find them at tvlampsforless.com.

Did a search for my product and found many. After comparing price, warranty, and shipping, the lamp from Amazon was the best deal. Easy to install and gave me a picture like new. Very good delivery time.

Bulb blew in less then 20 days.. and this company is really really horrible.. be prepared to pay for shipping your own product back, for return or refund.. on top of they leave you on hold forever.. transfer you from person to person.. answer all questions with rhetorical answers to confuse you, and are extremely rude and unhelpful.. Good luck dealing with these people.. I am taking what's let of my refund and running ..

The lamp (Phillips) arrived promptly and I installed it and everything worked great for 10 days. Then the lamp blew with a terrible burning plastic smell. Now I cannot remove it as it melted some plastic and is stuck inside the TV. Customer service is unreachable by phone and I have not received a response to my email.

This is my 2nd lamp from the same seller. The first one lasted for about 6 months. I am thinking of dumping the TV!

I needed to order a new light for my Samsung TV and wasn't sure where to look - after reading the reviews, I felt confident that this would be a good purchase. The product came in about 3 days and it was easy to install and has been working great since day 1. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

Bought this from Kennedy Webster Electric for half the price Samsung had listed. Read through the seller reviews as some people listed bad experiences with other sellers. This came in nice clean replacement part packaging. Was easy to install. Working great for a week so far.

This was a horrible buy. Do not purchase this lamp as it will give you problems in less than 3 months.
