I purchased an after market type data cable for the low cost of $1.00, plus $2.98 shipping very recently and when I first used the data cable it worked for a very short time and now it does not connect to my computer at all. It was working intermittently, then shorted out completely. I would like Amazon to replace this item as soon as possible, but I have not received any reply to my complaints to customer service repeatedly. I have verified that there is nothing wrong with my cell phone, so I am positive that this item is defective merchandise.

The cable works for my Blackjack II but the outer hard black plastic part of the plug on the phone side of the cable is a little too big and hits the data port cover that swivels out of the way on the phone. It still functions but it can't quite go in all the way. Also, the CD that came with it didn't work with my BJ II, but I still had the original software that came with the phone so I just used that and it worked fine.

The connector is a bit thicker and wider than the one which came on the cable with the phone. As a result it is more difficult to ensure a good connection and it comes unseated at the slightest nudge severing the connection which can be frustrating. It does not charge my phone when connected even though the OEM cable that came with the phone will charge it.

Super please with this product for such an amazing value!!!! Just to get the car charger alone from the Sprint would have been $20.00!!! Product is very durable, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

The Samsung phone USB Data Cable was promptly delivered. It did not include the CD it is pictured with, but the CD is not needed as it automatically connects and downloads. The USB cord is all you need. I dont think I used the CD at all. However, the plastic casing for the plug broke off after 10 uses. The plus is that it still works (data still transfers), the minus is that there is no grip to so it makes it difficult to attach & detach the phone. With the price, I didnt expect too much... so for this to actually still transfer data is deserving of 2 stars.

I thought I was buying a cable that would work for the A707 phone but the cable doesn't fit.

The only thing good about it is it charges my sgh-a127. i can't figure out how to make it work on my pc. Can any one help??

2.0 USB Data Cable is good enough for me to transfer all I need from my Samsung Blast to my computer and vice versa. Good price and good product, what else you are asking for ?

I ordered this product about two months ago and it works great! I had no trouble getting the usb to fit my phone and it's really easy to use. It was definitely worth the money.
