Driver comes with Samsung's PC Studio 3 freeware ((http://www.soft-go.com/view/Samsung-PC-Studio_1153.html) or you can use a mass storage option on the phone (see bellow). It works fine with my SGH-t739(Katalyst) phone and I believe will work with other Samsung phones, but you better check it on Samsung support web site.

Here is the info they sent me:

The SGH-T739 (Katalyst) handset has the capability to transfer files directly from a PC to the handset or a memory card, residing in the handset, using a compatible USB cable. There is a configurable USB setting required for transferring files, via an USB cable, using either Mass Storage (Windows Explorer) or Modem (PC Studio 3).

To access the USB setting follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Phone Settings (3)
4. Select USB Settings (4)
5. Highlight one of the following USB Setting options:
* Modem, to use the handset as a wireless modem or/or for the use PC Studio 3 to transfer files directly to the handset
* Mass Storage, to use Windows Explorer to transfer files to or from a memory card
6. Press the left soft key to Select the desired USB Setting

Tip: The handset is unable to connect using PC Studio 3 when the Mass Storage option is enabled.

Note: A formatted microSD(tm) memory card must be inserted into the handset for the Mass Storage option to function properly.

Of course you need a driver but he driver was free off of the Samsung website. Everything works great. Download the pictures off of phone easily with BitPim software (free download as well).

Contrary to the review by "Mavis F. Kitty" I bought this for use with my A737 and it works just fine. Since you can download the software for free from Samsung's web site all you need is the cable to charge, transfer files, music, etc.

Put simply, this product does what it says. Just go to the Samsung website and download the proper software for free for your specific phone, so no need to buy a CD from another seller.

If you are looking for a cable that connects your Samsung phone to the computer so that it can charge or transfer data, then this is the cable for you. Much cheaper than the ones at the stores.

Works perfectly. If you experience any problems, it is most likely your computer, and not the cable.

at this price it isnt even worth returning .. shipping would cost twice its price.

I have the Samsung Blast and just as advertised this is the cord only and does not come with the software. I went to samsungs website and downloaded the PC suite in less than 2 mins I was transfering files from my pc to my phone. I've made 6 ringtones so far.

Works great with software from Samsungs website. Also charges my phone from my laptop, which is conveinent.

No need to pay $20 or more for OEM. This works perfectly and at a fraction of the cost of OEM. You can't go wrong.
