This is a great kit saves a lot of money and the prints are great.

Eventually, it will think the ink has depleted even though you still have a lot left, and stop printing altogether.

This review is based on the toner's compatibility with a Samsung CLX-3175. I cannot make any claims regarding its performance with cartridges designed for other models.

IMPORTANT: YOUR PRINTER MUST HAVE A RESET CHIP INSTALLED FOR SUCCESSFUL USE OF THIS PRODUCT. The included brass microchips do not work on the CLX-3175, and the printer will think you are using an old cartridge. Eventually, it will think the ink has depleted even though you still have a lot left, and stop printing altogether. This 4 star review is based upon the assumption that you have a reset chip.

PROS: Clear, easy to follow instructions. Refilling was very easy. Large volumes of high-quality toner.

CONS: Ends of dispensing bottles slightly too large, making for a mess unless you devise your own system to pour ink into toner. Personally, I fed the ends of the bottles into the receptacle half of a child's liquid medicine syringe dispenser, and fed the syringe into the cartridge. I'm sure there are many other ways that would work well.

This was my 2nd kit and things have changed a little. (Although I think this is a new listing of the same product/vendor, because I the one I saved in my wishlist for the future wasn't there anymore.)

First, they clipped the tops of the pour spouts as one reviewer noted MUCH further than last time. For the 310/315 this was perfect as you just held the toner up at maybe ~20° and tilted the bottle and jammed it in to fully block the oval hole without pouring any toner. Then tilt everything vertical and shimmy/shake the whole operation until the toner bottle is empty. Much less waste and mess this way.

Second, they only included 1 set of gloves instead of the 4 pairs last time. It is fine, but I liked having the spares around for a few months after.

Finally, this kit had 2 different versions of chips. One had arrows as the instructions noted and had a black board, but the other 3 had only a number and letter on the connection side and had a green board. I guessed and was right. (Letters are installed right side up when in the printer.) This was confusing because the other (black) chip had the contacts aligned with the bottom of the chip with the spare board exposed on the top. The green chips without the arrows were opposite, with the contacts aligned to the top of the board with the board exposed on the bottom.

I will purchase this product again, but should note that we are heavy users of our printers and would like to purchase a product to reset our chips. Thanks Laser Tek.

In my particular case, unable to change/swap the chip on the cartridge after "filling". Each bottle was only 25% full - which I was told would refill the cartridge. Contacted Seller about problem & they're refunding purchase price. GREAT customer service. Would order from them again - other than this particular refill kit.

Laser Tech provides clear photographic instructions that make refilling easy. The provided refill materials make it into a fairly mess free procedure. I tried the first one outside and after seeing how easy it was I did the rest right at my desk.

OK...five stars....if they would modify the toner bottles to have smaller funnels. They are too big for the hole in the toner cartridges. I solved the problem by rolling a large index card into a funnel, then taping the seam of the funnel and using it to fill the cartridge. (If you don't tape the seam, it will leak toner all over your desk/floor).

I have been using the toner for over two months now...without any problems.

One note: the chips do not have an arrow on them as indicated in the directions....so you run the risk of installing them upside down. I made an educated guess and it was correct: Look closely at the installed chips and line up the contacts.

I plan to reorder this kit when I need new toner. FYI, the toner company recommends you do not refill a cartridge more than twice before replacing it....good advice and they are to be congratulated for making that recommendation rather than just selling more refills..
