Great picture and reception...
Great picture and reception for a small inexpensive TV/VCR combination. On screen menues somewhat confusing and not as easy as many other sets I've used. Sound is acceptable for a small TV - the kids prefer headsets in the van.

We got this AC/DC TV for a long road trip we just took. The unit was a little bigger and heavier than we thought, but the picture quality was excellent for the price, the unit's durability (considering the abuse we gave it on the 4200 mile trip!) was surprisingly good, and its usability was great. We had brought audio tapes in addition to videotapes, but for the most part the video unit was most popular for passing the miles among family members.

I gave it 3 stars to be neutral because I haven't really seen this TV/VCR in person. I just wanted to say that I think it has a 9 inch screen based on the size of the slot for the VHS tape, and the CXJ0932 model number (the 09 part), and the other TV/VCR combos that are brought up as alternatives. It seems kinda expensive for what you're getting though. |
