The cable supplied with the Samsung A920 will not charge the phone. I am using this cable to charge my phone and to also use the phone as a tethered modem (Sprint EVDO). It works in both Linux and Windows. I can continue to use as a modem without stopping to recharge and my phone stays fully charged. I would recommend this for the Samsung A920.

Unfortunately, as a Mac user, I only found this product useful in regard to connecting to the internet. I already had all the software needed (and the software disc was only for windows computers), so the only thing I needed the cable for was to charge my Samsung A900M phone while connected via USB. This cable did not do that. Unless there was something in the software disc this cable came with that made the charging happen, it only worked as a means to connect with my Mac, but not to charge. It's a shame, that would have been helpful.
