I never thought a dryer could be more then just that. I got this set at a chain store on a "open box" deal. I would have never guessed that dryers could be anything to get excited about either. It drys or it doesn't, I was wrong. This thing makes almost no sound. It gets everything dry as it should. The thing that really makes it great is all the extras like the steam to get out deep wrinkles. The touch up cycle alone got almost all my wrinkles, beats breaking out the iron. It also has a speed dry cycle that is half the time of normal. 13 total drying options. What the description is not telling you is it also has a child lockout to keep the little ones from opening the door even when not in use. I got the electric version and its energy consumption sticker says it will on average use $11.00 a year!!!
