The StormWash heavy-duty wash system makes pre-rinsing dishes unnecessary by using power rotating spray jets positioned to clean dishes at every angle. All you have to do is place hard-to-clean dishes above the StormWash wheel on the bottom rack and it does the scrubbing for you. Plus, despite its power, this dishwasher only makes 46 dBA worth of noise, making it one of the quietest dishwashers in its class. It's also Energy Star 2013 Tier 1 compliant, so you're guaranteed to be saving money and energy every time you run a load.

Short version:

$900 Samsung dishwasher arrived , was noisy and did not clean well. Called Samsung .... no one will repair the Samsung dishwasher ...why? I live too far from Denver so no Authorized Samsung Repair.

No warranty? I live 1 mile from Home Depot and 18 miles from Lowe's where the sell Samsung dishwashers. Amazing

Escalate to the Office of the President at Samsung... there they have specialists who tell you to drop dead in corporate speak.

No luck at any level of Samsung.

What is the problem? Deep inside the pump of the dishwasher is a metal blade that is bent and cutting into the plastic wall of the pump...so water can leak and not spray through the washing wands properly.

Samsung will not even supply the parts to repair the defective pump.

No warranty

No replacement

No buy back

Only terrible customer service... rude, snippy, and very very official.

I just bought a new Bosch dishwasher..

No idea what to do with this broken Samsung... just the pump alone is hundreds of dollars

And.... the top rack has already broken plastic clips [ a common problem ] and the door wont latch ...and the electronics are very glitchy

I thought Samsung was a good brand name.... now I know first hand they make some good stuff and they make some junk... and if you get a bad product they are ruthless and completely uncaring

Had this dishwasher just three weeks and the touch controls don't respond to a "touch". Have to hit the power icon on the touch pad multiple times to get it to respond and activate. Have already called for service under the warranty....and just after three weeks of ownership??!!?? This just should not be for a brand new appliance... Hey Samsung, where is,your quality control??

I bought this dishwasher from a big box retailer locally. The first one was DOA. They replaced it. It leaked from a vent at the bottom. They tried to repair it by replacing the entire vent, shaft, and closing solenoid. It still leaked. I decided to return it after that and switched brands. I had this for about a month and a half.
Ok, so maybe I got two lemons. It's possible. Aside from the fact that it leaked, it didn't dry the dishes at all. There was always water on the sides of the dishwasher and dishes (even when using Jet Dry). I left clean dishes in the washer for 2 days without opening it and when I finally did open it, it was still wet inside and stank of mildew. I had to rewash everything again. Unfortunately, it seems all the brands are requiring Jet Dry to get the dishes remotely dry, but this one has an especially weak heating cycle.
The tines for holding the dishes just seemed oddly spaced. They were really close together and I have some relatively thick dishes that barely fit. Plus, because they were so close, I had to use every other tine which meant I really couldn't fill the washer up.
They also had some adjustable tines, but all you could do is tilt them 45 or 90 degrees; not flat. I really didn't see why I would want them 45 degrees. What's worse, the adjustable tines didn't line up very well with the non-adjustable ones and because they were so close, it meant I was wedging the dishes between the tines and not just setting them between the tines like every other dishwasher I've ever used. It did mean the dishes were held in place well. A little too well. The ability to lay the adjustable tines flat would have been much better because frankly, they were in the way.
A couple of minor negative things: It has a power button. What?

Verified Purchase
Crappy result for such an expensive unit. I purchased it for a client and it does not dry. Full of condensation after use. Now she is not happy and is concerned that she will have to pay more to remove a defective unit that doesn't work. I won't pass on the cost so now I lose money...not cool. On top of it, I discarded the box it came in and Amazon requires it be returned in the box it shipped in. I hope I don't get stuck with an $800.00 not working piece of junk???

Boat anchor...oh wait, it would float with all the styrofoam in it.

DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!
My wife and I purchased this dishwasher in February 2014. It lured us in with its beautiful looks and promise of quiet operation. For nine months this dishwasher worked flawlessly. It cleaned our dishes well and you could never tell this thing was in operation when it was running. During the first week of November we got an "LE" code and the dishwasher shut down. The manual told us to cut the power to it and call Samsung for service. It took two weeks to get a technician to our house and he had to order a new control module and a new leak sensor. Apparently "LE" is the fault code for leak. When the Technician replaced these items the machine started working again. Two days before Thanksgiving the dishwasher stopped working again and was flashing the "LE" code again. This time it took almost a month for the Technician to get to our house and he couldn't find the leak so he ordered an entire Sump Assembly since Samsung told him this is the only other thing that could be wrong. Christmas Eve the technician came out and replaced the Sump Assembly and got the machine running again. On New years day, a week after the repair, our dishwasher stopped working again and was displaying this dreaded "LE" code again. I immediate called Samsung and they scheduled the repair man to arrive for another repair today but the machine started working again yesterday (assuming the water leak dried up) and the repair tech called Samsung to explain to them the situation. Samsung told the repair tech since he couldn't recreate the problem they're not going to recognize there was a problem and they were not going to pay for the service call.
