The Samsung Digimax 800 does not offer an LCD display--a feature that is standard with many digital cameras. However, this camera does not go through batteries as quickly as most digital cameras. The Digimax 800 connects to PCs with an RS-2232-C serial connection.

Great For Anything,

This review is from: Samsung Digimax 800K 0.8MP Digital Camera (Electronics)
This camera is a great product! I really enjoy using it. It is so easy to use, I can take it just about anywere. It is great for a vacation because you can save the photos on the disk and not worry about losing them like a film print. Downloading you're photo is quick and easy. It is also great the way you can edit the pictures and send them to friends! I love this product and I got my moneys worth!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Samsung Digimax 800K 0.8MP Digital Camera (Electronics)
I know that you get what you pay for, but for 200 American I expected a camera that functioned. This thing is little more than...no, it's NO more than a toy.The primary problem is with the "shutter release". It is completely unreliable. Often times I have to depress the button five or more times to get the camera to capture the image, taking several seconds. So it you are looking for a camera that will capture a moment--forget it. If you want a camera that will take portraits where people look natural, not frozen in a pose waiting for the camera to work--forget it. If you want a camera that isn't cheaply made--forget it.
