This camera is a great product! I really enjoy using it. It is so easy to use, I can take it just about anywere. It is great for a vacation because you can save the photos on the disk and not worry about losing them like a film print. Downloading you're photo is quick and easy. It is also great the way you can edit the pictures and send them to friends! I love this product and I got my moneys worth!

I know that you get what you pay for, but for 200 American I expected a camera that functioned. This thing is little more than...no, it's NO more than a toy.

The primary problem is with the "shutter release". It is completely unreliable. Often times I have to depress the button five or more times to get the camera to capture the image, taking several seconds. So it you are looking for a camera that will capture a moment--forget it. If you want a camera that will take portraits where people look natural, not frozen in a pose waiting for the camera to work--forget it. If you want a camera that isn't cheaply made--forget it.

Received my 800K Digital Camera today and am so sorry that I didn't spend the money on a better model. I had the use of a Cannon Powershot and cannot believe they even classify this Sansung as a Digital Camera. Shop around people, you might spend more money but it will be worth it. I certainly agree with one of the other reviews, it a childs toy.

I got this product as my BD present. I found this to be a very useful and handy. As a beginner digital photographer, I love thsi product!

Since buying this camera I have had nothing but problems, from the first time I tryed to down load photos to the computer, It often failed and took repeated attempts to get it to work. Now about 2 months later it has stopped down loading all together. I have not managed to solve this problem. Not a good investment

We have had our Digimax 800 K close to 2 years now.

It goes through batteries like crazy, we have gone through 6 - 10 batteries just to have pictures of the kids opening they're gifts. It's really bad on batteries. We have tried every brand on the market, up and including what Samsung suggests to use, and there is no difference. The camera dies after 4-6 pictures that requires a flash.

It's a great camera outside, providing, you don't require a flash.

So having said that, Would we recommend this little camera to beginners. Absolutely not!!! We are very disappointed with our camera, and we paid (more) when they first came out on the market.

I've had one of these cameras for about a year. It does OK if your have PERFECT conditions - still not that good, though. Also have a Fuji finepix 2300. You can get it for another 20-30 dollars more. It is 2.1 MP and has a color LCD panel. The pictures it takes are great - no comparison to the Samsung. I just would not see paying that much for such a poor digicam

I bought this camera ...and was extremely dissapointed. I had problems downloading images to my computer, having to shift tthe camera around to different positions. The image quality was awful especially outside ones.

I definately wouldn't recommend anyone buying this as their first camera. Save your money and invest in something a little better like the Fuji 2400 or one of the Kodak range.
