For a digital camera this little guy makes great pictures. It has great functions and it's so small that it can fit in your pocket without any trouble. I'm very happy that i bought this camera because it makes great pictures with high quality and beautiful colours, the only thing that's a problem with it is that it's not an optical one, but even though, makes amazing pictures. Makes great movie clips too, although they take a lot of space from the card but the quality is pretty good when you turn to 24fps and 640x480. For such a low price this baby is a great buy.

This is a great camera for a great price! I bought it today and it's better than I expected. My pics come out so clear! The camera is really small and the LCD is 1.8 inches! I love this camera!

i have been shopping for a camera for about a month. i looked at all brands and i figured out that Sony, Canon, and Nixon are the best. i went to walmart and was gonna buy the canon powershot for $160(3.2 mp). then i saw this little guy for $118 and it was 4 mp. i checked it out and decided to give it a try. its really good. its small, the battery life is pretty good(get rechargeable), the pics are clear, the movie clips have sound, very light wieght, GREAT price, easy to use, easy to upload photos, and fun to use. i highly suggest it.

Due to low funds I'd tried the Kodak CX7300 (NOT 7330) and the flash was horrible. The pictures looked fine on the LCD but on download they were dark. I went back and traded for the Samsung A402 and am very happy with it.

I just helped my little sister purchase this camera. My personal camera is a HUGE step up from this and even I was impressed. It's easy to use and the images come out crystal clear. LOVE it!

I just purchased this sweet little camera. I have been having fun with it. I was a good consumer and read the instructions before using, I haven't really used a digital before. This is easy, and I played with it today. The first six photos weren't perfect but were good. I will have fun with this little camera. It's just the right size to put in my pocket and go.

The samsung digimax A402 is the perfect camera. I am 10 years old and this camera is so easy to use! Everything you need is in the box. I have many samsung electronics and all of them are very reliable and never brake. It is a lot smaller than you think.

This is my first digital camera...........but it works perfectly.........I LOVE it!!.....I would recommend it to any of my family or friends

My wife purchased this item for myself, but I helped in the research. Basically we were looking for an inexpensive replacement for our old sony unit. Our main concerns were price and image quality. This one fit the bill on both we decided after our research. The size is quite small yet not small enough to be dropped easily or have it slip out of your hands. The image quality is great at this price and better then the alternatives in this range ($109). The digital zoom is just that and so my recommendations in regards to the zooom is to take your pics at the highest (S.Fine) setting and then zooming in and cropping the image via your image editing program. I have not had problems with batteries as of yet but upon the first replacements will be installing rechargeable.

I guess I really shouldn't complain because my husband won the camera in an office rally. But the pictures it takes are disgraceful for a Samsung product every two to three pictures are blurred unrecognizably-where you can't even tell what you have taken. If you have found yourself among the fortunate few who actually found success with this camera thank your lucky stars. Even if it is a less expensive choice versus the other cameras on the market today spend the extra money it would be worth it not to miss any family moments like my family did,on this useless piece of CRAP!
