The Samsung Digimax 410 combines powerful optics with useful features for a digital camera that meets everyday photography needs with style and ease. The 4-megapixel sensor and autofocus Schneider-Kreuznach lens ensure clear, brilliant photos, while the 6x zoom--3x optical with 2x digital enhancement--gives you creative room to take photos of any subject.

There are three different picture-size settings for space and quality needs, and photos can be printed at sizes up to 11 by 14 inches and beyond. Composing your shots is a simple affair with the large 1.6-inch color LCD display or the optical zoom viewfinder. There are four white-balance settings and the flash can be set to auto, fill, off, slow sync, or the special red-eye reduction to fit your lighting needs.

The Digimax 410 can also record voice memos and short full-motion videos, which you can view on a television using the NTSC/PAL video-out connection. A 16 MB CompactFlash card is included and stores about 15 images at default settings. You can imprint the time and date onto your photos for recordkeeping. The seven-second self-timer is always useful for self-portraits or group shots. The USB connection provides an easy way to transfer your photos and video onto your PC, and MGI Samsung Digimax Viewer 1.0 software is provided for photo editing.

I travel a lot and I am unable to recharge my battery some times. This camera takes AA batteries as well as the regarchable which is a great help to me. It takes good pictures with high resolution.
