Together with a precision-crafted lens from Schneider Kreuznach, the NV11's 1/1.8-inch CCD supports 10.1-megapixels to capture even the tiniest details, resulting in a picture quality of unmatched beauty. The 5x optical zoom -- also supported in video mode -- brings subjects that much closer, and a 2.7-inch LCD ensures a clear view during photography and playback. Samsung ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) stabilizes the image for blur-free images. Red-eye Fix delivers natural, flattering portrait shots when using built-in electronic-flash, and the improved ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) system reduces blur resulting from normal hand movement while High Sensitivity (up to ISO 1600) allows for terrific pictures in a variety of lighting conditions.

Advanced Shake Reduction ASR reduces the effects of camera shake in low light conditions. Flash photography can sometimes result in harsh, over-exposed images, but ASR guarantees bright, crisp and natural images without using a flash at all.

Advanced Photo Gallery Access your pictures quickly and easily at any time thanks to an innovative new user interface.
Red-eye Fix function A special red-eye fix algorithm on the camera automatically eliminates redeye from your pictures. You can remove red-eye during image payback, or for even greater convenience, set the camera to automatically detect and eliminate red-eye from your shots as they are taken.
Advanced Movie Function The NV series supports MPEG-4 VGA (640x480, 30fps) and TVD (720x480, 20fps - NV3) size for an enhanced video shooting experience. You can even edit your movies on the camera itself, making these clever models brilliantly portable but powerful movie-makers.
If the Zoom buttons are being pressed during the Movie clip shots, the voice will not record.
12 Scene Modes The NV models have a choice of scene modes to help you get the perfect shot in any situation. By automatically adjusting the camera's setting according to the situation, you can be sure of getting great pictures effortlessly. The scene modes provided are Night Scene, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Text, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, Close-up, Beach and Snow. In addition, Biz mode (NV11) extends the camera's application potential. Just take pictures of business cards, and then connet the camera to your PC afterwards. It will automatically recognize the cards, manage them, and store them in your PC using the included software.
Digimax Master all-in-one software Digimax master is the software that integrates the viewer, still image, movie editing, and editing functions into a single application.

Love It, Love It, Love It!!!,
This review is from: Samsung Digimax NV11 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Advance Shake Reduction Optical Zoom (Electronics)
I received this camera as a birthday gift and couldn't be happier. I was until now a diehard Nikon fan, but this camera has made me see the light. It's my 2nd digital point and shoot (my first was a Nikon CoolPix 775 - which was lovely when it came out, but now terribly out of date). I'm glad I was open to trying another brand. I was strongly considering the Nikon Coolpix s50c and was almost swayed by its wireless capability, but am so happy with the quality of the photos taken with the Samsung I know it was the right choice for my everyday needs. It's easy to use, has a nice feel to it, bright and clear LCD panel, shooting modes that are actually useful and result in very satisfactory results and much more. I also own a Nikon 6006 and regularly shoot with a Nikon D70 and have actually had more success with the Samsung NV11 point and shoot than the Nikon digital SLR. It also takes nice digital movies with clear audio. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: easy to use, super macro, beautiful, a step up from NV10
Cons: not as slim as the NV10, high ISO noisy this is my second NV series camera i've owned. I am totally sold on them. I carry the nv11 everywhere with me. They are no professional camera, but for point 'n shoot they rock. Not only do they look great, they are fast, easy to use, powerful flash.

excellent overall.,

oh, the camera rules and i recommend it for sure, but there's little things that bug me about it.
1. the battery life is short. i'm really unhappy with this considering i am using this camera for adventures/vacations. maybe the smart touch buttons drain all the battery, but i am deeply not satisfied it. my old camera, a Nikon Coolpix P2 has a better battery life which lasted me about midweek during vacation despite my mistake of not bringing its charger. the samsung's battery can barely last a day and i'm quite disappointed in it and wish they had an extended battery. 2. the screen is a dust magnet. but oh my, it's so clear and the images are very close, if not entirely, to the exact color of whatever subject you are taking a picture of. 3. the camera strap is something to be desired. it scratches your skin. my manual's camera strap is more comfortable than that. 4. no cloth to clean it? for a camera this nice, i'd expect a cloth to come along with it. but if it really bugs you, like it mildly does for me, you can just go out and purchase your own. still, that's kind of lame. 5. the usb link port or whatever you call it is on the bottom? this seems to me a reoccuring thing since it's in my friend's Sony Cybershot DSC-100 as well. this annoys me because what if water was spilled on the floor and it got into my camera? that'd be terrible. i don't think i'd ever be negligent enough to do that, but someone might. liquid spreads and could be spilled anywhere. i'm just looking out for the camera and my wallet, that's all. CAMERA MANUFACTURERS PLEASE STOP PLACING THE USB LOCATION AT THE BOTTOM, IT'S NOT COOL. all these things could be easily overlooked, so if you are thinking about purchasing this camera, don't worry so much because the pictures are amazing and accurate.
