I just purchased the 64 GB version of the Samsung Pro to replace a 32 GB Sandisk Ultra in my LG Optimus G (E970) on AT&T. It works perfectly! I was getting in-phone read speeds of 37 MB/s and writes of 8.5~9 MB/s with the Sandisk Ultra 32GB. Now with the Samsung Pro 64GB, I get 49 MB/s reads and 14 MB/s writes in the very same phone! Thumbnails populate faster in the gallery, album covers pop up faster, everything related to storage on the SD card is faster! Plus having 64 GB (really 60 GB) of storage on top of the 16 GB internal storage of the LG Optimus G means I can load A LOT of music, video and games onto my phone without worring about running out of space (for now!). With the card inserted into a USB 3.0 port my PC via a Transcend USB 3.0 Card Reader, I got 67.8 MB/s reads and 20.7 MB/s writes, so the specs do not lie!

Plus, for some reason, the Sandisk Ultra would dismount itself from time to time for no apparent reason causing me to have to shut down the phone, reseat it and restart my phone! This happened multiple times at the least opportune moments. Hopefully, this will not happen with the Samsung Pro, but I haven't had it long enough to confirm yet. I will update this if that happens.

Update 5/22/2013:

I've had the card for a month today and so far I've had zero issues. The card has not dismounted itself even once. I could not be happier.

Update 7/8/2013:

Still zero issues in my phone.

I purchased this Samsung 64GB microSD card for my (also newly purchased) Samsung Galaxy S4 out of concern, expressed online by numerous new owners, for a reduced amount of useable internal memory and the need for a microSD card with high capacity / high speed / high reliability for external memory storage. After many days of online research on microSD card capacities, brands, speeds, and technologies, I decided on this Samsung microSD card.

I've had this microSD card for a few days (as with the GS4) and have had absolutely no problems with it. The card went immediately from the packaging to the back of the GS4 without any formatting or other preparation. It was recognized and readable right away by the GS4, by my newly installed Android file manager apps, and by my Windows 8 laptop when connected.

I could not be more pleased with the card's performance or more thrilled with the value for the price, admittedly a bit more than the competition but well worth it.

While you're doing your own research, keep this microSD card at the top of your list for consideration. You'll find that my, and others, recommendation is well founded.

Bought this Samsung 64GB micro sdxc card for my phone. No problem installing it. The phone (Galaxy Note 2) had no issues recognizing the card and it works well. Bought this card based on the reviews.

I have gotten my fair share of fake memory cards over time and even some from amazon. I now test with a program called H2testw. This program essentially writes and re-reads the entire memory card to make sure it is actually the size it says it is.

Fakes normally have a smaller size than it says it is (a 32gb card is actually 2gb) and the computer sees it at 32 gb. What happens is when you go past the 2gb of actual memory - the rest of the data becomes corrupt because it is writing to nothing. The rest of the "30gb" is not really there so POOF - there goes your pictures, music etc.

When this happens people blame it on a malfunctioning card/phone/device.

Ok so here is the result from my test with the program

--------------
Samsung-
Warning: Only 30597 of 30598 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 15.0 MByte/s
Reading speed: 19.5 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4
--------------

As you can see - 32gb is there and the write/read speeds are there as well.
Not as fast as advertised but much faster compared to my previous cards.
When tested in a Samsung Galaxy S4 - I get a slightly faster writing- 18mb/s and read of 22mb/s

All in all well worth the money!

Remember to test your card asap when you receive it - it could save you lots of lost data/headache/money in the long run.

I bought 64GB variety of the card, and it delivers as promised. I use the card in GoPro Hero3 and it worked perfectly. The previous card I used in Hero3 (SanDisk Ultra 64GB class-10 micro-SD card) gave me nothing but trouble. Testing the card on my Mac, it performs at solid and almost constant 20MB/s sequential write speed. Yay! There might be faster cards on the market, but currently none of them offer 64GB capacity, at least that I'm aware of.

If you have camera that requires class-10 card, and you need high capacity in micro-SD format, I can highly recommend this one. It's slightly more expensive then similar SanDisk Ultra card, but unlike SanDisk Ultra, Samsung Pro works :-)

Some numbers. Test of write speed (writing out 1GB of zeros to the card):

$ dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=131072 count=8192
8192+0 records in
8192+0 records out
1073741824 bytes transferred in 52.869111 secs (20309436 bytes/sec)

iostat shows write speed to be more or less constant throughout the write:

$ iostat -d -w 1 disk2
disk2
KB/t tps MB/s
125.30 138 16.86
117.73 157 18.03
123.04 150 18.00
128.00 159 19.86
128.00 156 19.47
126.45 160 19.73
128.00 150 18.72
128.00 154 19.22
128.00 153 19.11
[ ... and so on until dd finishes writing 1GB of zeros to the card ... ]

Similarly, reading the file back (after clearing buffers and caches) shows solid and about constant 40MB/s:

$ dd if=test of=/dev/null bs=131072 count=8192
8192+0 records in
8192+0 records out
1073741824 bytes transferred in 26.248890 secs (40906180 bytes/sec)

$ iostat -d -w 1 disk2
disk2
KB/t tps MB/s
128.00 215 26.82
128.00 316 39.45
126.
