I'd ask for a refund or exchange, but my previous glass is shattered and I am stuck with this.

This glass comes with two plastic protectors: one at the front and one in the back.

If the glass is broken on your Samsung Galaxy S3 and there is NO damage to the LCD - you can replace the glass with some patience and heat.

First of all, if the glass is broken and you see "bleeding" of colors than more than likely you will need to replace the entire screen. That would include the glass, digitizer/lcd and its expensive. You can obtain the entire unit for around $200+, but maybe cheaper if you shop around a bit.

If the glass is broken and the LCD is not damaged, you can replace it without damaging the LCD.

There are several videos on how to do this on YouTube, but it does take some time, patience and heat. You will have to heat the screen to loosen the glue in order to separate the glass from the device. Move slowly and take your time. Make sure not to pry into the LCD when working the glass off of the device. Work the edges and then peel back the glass (and use goggles as glass will splinter).

It may be worth the $25+ to save $200, but the end result can be very good if you take your time.

I should have taken the other reviewers' advice. this is not the original "OEM" samsung glass. it is a little bit thicker and sticks up above the bezel of my phone. mine came with a nice little hair inside a bubble between the layers of glass. not worth it. I could have paid samsung $180 to fix my glass but instead decided to give this a shot and fix it myself. total waste of money. false advertising! -- update 12/4 - Contacted seller, got a swift response and refund. Still dissapointed that product was advertised as OEM but at least they didn't steal my money.

I ordered this because it said it was OEM.

Installation turned out to be easy. The cracks were over the proximity sensor, so there were only a few long cracks over the digitizer. I heated it up and took the glass off in one whole piece.
I took the film off both sides of the new glass, pressed it on and was back to normal.

Looks good in the dark, but I get a lot of glare in bright areas. The screen looks washed out then too.
I think there are small scratches on the glass, after just a short time of use.
So I don't think this is Original Equipment after all.

This glass comes with two plastic protectors: one at the front and one in the back.

The front one was incredibly easy to remove. The back one however, was horribly difficult to peel off. I was afraid that the glass would broke. I was so attatched to the glass, that part of the blue paint peeled off, leaving the border all stained. Now my phone looks very bad.

I really doubt this is OEM glass as stated. OEM glass is "gorilla" glass and this does not appear to be. After about 3 weeks of use it cracked from top to bottom in a single straight line crack unlike to original glass which spider cracked when damaged. This is simple regular glass not OEM as advertised.

Never used it! =/ took a while to ship, but appears to be ok..... just catching up on my unanswered reviews..... maybe I'll try to install it when I get a new phone, then I won't care and can practice for my next phone! Lol... for me it was a waste of $25 bucks!... it's ok, it's not thier fault!

Less than a month after getting my S3 it was sitting on my desk when the unimaginable happened. It vibrated off the edge of the desk landing on upper right corner of the display. Most of the screen was still usable but it bothered me EVERY time I touched the phone. Choice 1) $200 to let Samsung replace the display or 2) more than $500 to replace. Then I spotted this glass on Amazon for $25 and found instructions on YouTube. Worked like a charm and the phone looks like new again ... except now it wears a silicone sleeve ALL of the time.
