This company sent me either a defective bulb or the wrong bulb for my television because it doesn't work. Part of the problem is attributable to Samsung who stopped using the original bulb. This created confusion as to what to replace it with since it uses another part number to replace the original. this seller only has 9 a.m.to 6 p.m. hours and I have been unable to get a replacement or reach a human yet. My bulb did not appear to be new and came in what appears to be a refurbished packaging. It was described and purchased as a new item. Steer clear of this seller. Amazon will definitely be hearing from me regarding this.

The bulb works fine so far. The disappoiting aspect of the purchase is that the Buyer listed the item as New. However, once I received the bulb, I realized that the item was refurbished. The Buyer was kind of enough to offer a full refund. I decided to keep the bulb, b/c it worked fine and I didn't want to go through the hassle. Regardless, I think that the Buyer should be more up front with the product description.

Never having had to replace this expensive lamp before, I opted for the pricier lamp with housing. It turned out to be a phillips lamp, though not described as such in the ad. It was pretty easy to replace, but I saved the old housing to I can buy only the bulb next time if necessary.
My wife and I both commented afterwards at how much brighter and more colorful our picture was.

We received our order and it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the lamp burned out in just five months. Our original lamp lasted four years. What a waste of $122.

I wanted the original lamp for my Samsung HLP5063W DLP TV. This Lamp was the exact style lamp I removed from the TV. It was simple to replace since the entire lamp and housing comes as one unit. It has worked for 4 months now as bright as the day I installed it.

The right fit. Easy directions. I should've replaced my bulb last year. My picture quality is greatly improved!

This lamp couldn't have been any easier to replace. Remove 7 screws, slide the old lamp out, slide the new lamp in, replace screws, and you are done. One side note, I had to turn the brightness on the TV down some. The old bulb had been dimming with age so after the new one was put in the brightness was almost painful. However, I was reminded on how nice the picture was when I purchased the TV.

Ordering was easy. It was delivered promptly. It installed easily; however, I had excellent instructions from my first replacement which was purchased from Samsung. This second replacement bulb/housing did not have instructions. There may be instructions by Samsung on the web; I didn't look. It works fine. The original and first-replacement bulbs lasted about 2 years each - hope this one does the same.

Our Samsung TV was getting a little dim and I wasn't sure if it was the bulb's fault. The shipping was faster than expected and, using the TV user's manuel, I put the new bulb in with little or no problem. I had a little tough time getting it lined up but when I did, I slid right in. The results are great; looks like we have a new TV.

Was easy to replace, fit like a glove and fixed the problem I was having with my TV going out. Picture is MUCH brighter!
