(other than operator error so far)

I got this for my parents because it does have an easy on screen menu, but if you aren't able to set the clock on your vcr you probably wouldn't wanna put too many inputs ;) because even this easy menu befuddles my folks. Mom and pop run this puppy at least 12 hours a day every day. When the niece and nephews come over they love using it because it has great graphics for use with gaming systems (even has a game mode) and we also use it as a 50" computer monitor. Speakers are adequate but depending on the upconverting DVD player you have or DVD you are playing it could sound like you're in a chamber. Nice picture for a 720P and no problems but have noticed a slight warm up time for the bulb recently, but nothing to worry about yet...I hope. For people who haven't learned to appreciate HD yet, but do notice the better picture when the HD channels happen to click though, then this set should be fine. The folks sure love their big tv now.

If any problems arise (not operator error) I will revise this review. They have been using this set for nearly 9 months now without a hitch.

I've worked in broadcast television for over 20 years so I know a little bit about monitors. Didn't have any reservations about this as a first venture into home HD tv.

Now if I can only get them to watch the high definition cable channels I got them.......aaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh
