I rated the picture a 4 only because I have nothing to compare it to . This TV is incredible I only paid 400 for it. At of all places Fred Meyers . I have been researching LCDs for about 2 years waiting for the price to come down . I have been drooling over my friends TVs, but being far to cheap to drop $800 bucks on a comparative set I have been stuck with my old sharp crt tv . I only wanted to spend around $500 bucks and all the blogs told me my best bet for my money was wal-mart. All the LCDs I seen at wally world around 500 dollars were low end models and most made a really loud buzzing sound while turned on. At Fred Meyers there were 3 LCDs and one plasma all 32in TVs under 500 bucks, on sale of course . The only TV that was low end was the sanyo and it was still rated high. Anyway this TV is great in HD and very decent while watching regular def. channels none of the blurring or tracers that were talked about with other inexpensive sets . The TV is only 60HTZ so it really isn't made for gaming but I think you would be surprised at how well it keeps up.
