I compared this TV to several other brands before I bought it. The features are nice, the picture quality is really good even with analog signal (regular cable), s-video and component inputs make this TV come ALIVE.

It fits perfectly under my cabinets in my kitchen. The remote looks basic, but has more one-touch features on it than I'll ever need. The menu is easy to follow, it even has a "plug-n-play" setup.

The casing looks sharp, the connections in the back are great and the sound is excellent. It allows you to automatically adjust the sound if you watch a lot of news channels vs. regular tv. I'm real impressed with the quality as this is my first Samsung product I've ever owned.

I look to combine this with a dvd-vcr combo unit and HDTV cable for ultimate viewing. But right now, I'm totally pleased with the reception coming from regular cable.

I'm also looking to see if I can use the TV's speakers as output from my MP3 player since it has multiple inputs in the back...something to discover later.

I purchased this television in November 2003 from Circuit City for my kitchen. We use it much more than planned, and in fact, it's probably on as much as our main tv. Pictures is as sharp and bright as the day we bought it--no problems. Excellent televison!
