It'll play CDs and MP3-encoded CDs (CD-Rs and CD-RWs in both cases), and it comes with a multi-function remote control and an external battery pack for an additional eight hours of playback, to help get you through those super-long MP3 CDs.

Navigation is simplified through a 10-track skip button; bass boost helps compensate for bass-shy headphones and inferior-quality MP3s. This player does not support ID3 tags (which show artist and song title). Earbud headphones are included.

I was looking for the better cost/benefit and I can assure that you can buy this one. It works with 2 AAA batteries, comes with a nice remote control and also it comes with an adapter to use two extras AA batteries outside the player. The power supply is a battery eliminator and battery charger when you use two AAA rechargable batteries (recharges only the batteries that come inside the device). It doesn't have ID3 reader (doesn't show music names), I dont care, but works nice with as many directories you might have on your CD (accepts read only cds and r/w cds). The battery life is good: 4-5 hours with good AAA cells in MP3 mode, with the AA cells I did not measured yet, but you can use both same time to increase play time.
The skip mechanism is very good but it will consune your batteries faster. When playing MP3 the skip protection is not used, it is used only for regular music CDs. In fact when in MP3 mode I never heard a skip, trust me.

I've just receive my Samsung CD/MP3 player. I ordered the MDC MP65 last week and I was pleased to receive the new MP67 for the same price (179,99$ canadian). I love it ! It looks very nice, cannot read id-tags, but that's not a problem for me. Sound quality is very good, and the anti-skip for the new MP67 is now 100 sec.
Warning : if you are a Macintosh user, the player will not be able to read MP3 with long names. You should better burn your CD's in ISO or PC format.

Excellent gadget. I love to store over 150 songs in one 0.50 CD and play them. Though, here are its flaws:

1. No Song name display
2. Alakaline Batteries only last 160 mins
3. Remote control does not have a LCD

It has a great Album feature, where you can store folders (Artists p.eg) and skip between them. 100 secs Antishcok: I ve dropped it and it continued to play. I know that there is a coming version with Song name display: 67H. Great Value.
