Comfortable keyboard with great tactile feel.
The battery life also seems to be longer; I have kept it running at full power (no power saving features enabled) for more than seven hours.
I would highly recommend this netbook to anyone who needs a basic laptop for internet and word processing.

I've had the netbook for 2 days and its been serving me right. So I decided to write this review as this netbook still only has 1 review.

EDIT: I updated battery information

1. Price - I bought it for $265 (at the time, earlier it was $235... should've bought it at that time.

2. Screen - Very nice screen it goes easy on the eyes. Compared to a monitor I bought earlier, I have a easier time looking at this screen. Yes, its small but its expected for a netbook.

3. Speakers - Nice and loud, I didn't expect that for a netbook lol

4. Batteries - (this can also be a con. but coming from a laptop whose battery, I kid you not, lasted 70secs anything is a pro). I think the 10.7hours advertised is 10.7 hours on idle with WiFi, and Bluetooth enabled lol... So far I have gotten about 5.5 hours with a 14% ad an 1 hour remaining! (so about 6-7 hours standard) With normal usage (e.g. wifi on about %70 of the time, watching flash video, downloading data (4gig 4k video file!), screen brightness set all the way half the time and mid-way the other half the time the machine was on) so for me its pretty amazing... Your not going to get 10.7 hours in unless im doing it wrong no pun intended.... but 5-7 hours with normal usage is pretty amazing for me atleast!

5. Design: Laptop looks amazing!

6. Hard drive: decent for the price I paid.

7. Quick boot Samsung feature. As a computer techie I should know or at least want to know how this works... At the moment... I honestly don't care as it apparently is able to fully power off the machine or put it in a state between sleep mode and a shutdown and automatically resume the machine in about a second!....

Purchased to augment my road warrior tools - this jewel falls between a full laptop and a tablet. I'm getting by with 1gb of memory (additional memory optional) and no DVD R/W/Player - so far. Video is crisp and the ATOM processor handles the bulk of my administrative needs. Sound is phenominal for such a small platform. My unit was both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

Size and weight are ideal for my spartan field environments as a military contractor - Microsoft Office products handle the majority of my needs without lugging my 17.3" 9 lb laptop to the field. Coupled with my CASE LOGIC carrying bag Case Logic LNEO-10 Ultraportable Neoprene Notebook/iPad Sleeve Fits 7- to 10-Inch Tablets (Black)- I have room for a power brick, thumb drive and even an optional DVD drive in an outside zipperd compartment.

Battery life - claimed at 10.7 hours ... I've had the 'puter off the grid for a maximum of about 8 hours showing 20% left on the battery indicator. For daily use - it should easily work for 1/2 day use without the charger brick.

Windows 7 "STARTER" works like all Windows 7 operating systems in basic form. As I'm not an advanced user - I've not been limited in any way from tasks I do using Windows 7 Home Premium. Norton anti-virus protection - free for 60 days comes right out of the box.

This is not a picture editing, large spreadsheet computer - but as long as I keep a desktop or powerful laptop within reach - this 'little giant' was right for my current needs.

This Netbook is great for me. As a student I like how small and light weight it is, but yet fast enough to run Office 2010 and save my Docs. I can watch Netflix just fine, I even upgraded to 2 GB memory so it can run just a little faster. Battery will last all day (7 hrs) for me.

The best part is the fact that it was on the cheaper side. Not to mention that the sound is fantastic on it!

This is a great little computer. I have this one and another netbook (Acer Aspire One), but I like this one more. It is smaller and lighter, overall, even though the screen is the same size. The keyboard is also more comfortable because of the raised keys. The battery life also seems to be longer; I have kept it running at full power (no power saving features enabled) for more than seven hours. I would imagine that it would do up to ten hours with strict power-saving features enabled.

It comes with a nice suite of software, but no so much that it is a problem. You get what you really need, but not much, if anything, that you don't need. I like that because it leaves it up to you, the user, to decide what to install. The web cam software is worthy of a comment: It enables you to add all sorts of special affects to your photos and videos, including an animated, realistic cloud of flames that follows your head no matter where you move around in the camera's eye! The flames are just one of dozens of cool affects available. If you are getting this for a child or teen, he or she will no doubt have a lot of fun with this feature.

The sound system is impressive for a netbook. Compared to my large laptop (Compaq Presario CQ60), the volume and quality is way better. The sound is also much better than what I get from the Acer Aspire One.

With three USB ports, I have plenty of room for external, plug-in devices, but with Bluetooth, I can also use plenty of wireless devices, sparing me the nuisance of a ganglia of wires to use such devices as a mouse or printer.

My only criticism is that you really do need to spend the extra $15-20 for a memory upgrade to get great performance from this computer.
