hi. Full stars for this because:
a. ends are well labeled (easy to tell which way up for insert)
b. cable is plenty long (3.5'), and thicker/more robust than anticipated
c. works for both data connection AND CHARGING for my particular phone, Samsung Eternity SGH-867, which isn't listed in the item description as being supported.
d. Shipping was prompt from third-party seller.

Buying this stand alone USB cable for the Samsung was very inexpensive. Using this in conjunction with the FREE software from Samsung's website allows you to connect your phone to your PC easily and move data, ringtones, images, and such effortlessly. Skip the software/cable bundle, go this route!

This cable is a must have for transfering photos or music to and from your computer. Works great and very good price. Also works with the Rugby SGH-A837, which is not listed in the description. Download the software from Samsung's website (free)and you're ready to go. Quick shipping also.

This product works well and it is nice that it allows you to download pictures to your computer without e-mailing them.

Bought this so I could charge my Net10 Samsung T401G phone from a usb port on my laptop. Also, to transfer pictures, mp3, etc w/o having to use bluetooth. It works great for both and was very inexpensive, so I would recommend this.

I have a Samsung M300 and this cable does not charge the phone. I think the one that charges the phone has a green arrow on the phone end plug.

BEWARE: Unlike the OEM cable that came with my Blackjack II, this cable DOES NOT support charging via USB connection.

This item has served its purpose. I did not have any problems connecting my Blackjack 2 to my laptop or my PC. Just a note it does not charge the phone and I do not believe that it stated that it did. Maybe on some phones it does but not on this one. You also cannot beat the price

NICE! Brand new! Works great! Was using Bluetooth to transfer info from phone to 'puter, but this guy cuts that time in half! Even charges that batt's while moving data! Real nice!

I bought this for my Samsung A737, instead of paying AT&T $20 or $30 for one. Nothing screwy here. It works.
