I purchased this Samsung charger through this listing from "Clearance Masters--Ships from Hong Kong". The charger delivered is a counterfeit knockoff of the true OEM Samsung charger. Its housing and external markings are perfectly forged -- they deceptively mimic the Samsung logo and certification agency marks. I measured the output of the charger and compared its actual capability against its stated specification. The charger should provide a well regulated 5V at up to 1 Amp. Instead, it provides a poorly regulated 5.26 V open circuit, decreasing steadily with current to 4.1V at 410 mA, then to about 3.5V at 430 mA. Attempts to draw more current result in further rapid voltage drop. That's quite a deviation from the 5V 1A marked on the back of the enclosure. The too great voltage when unloaded is a hazard to some devices, and the drop in voltage at moderate current draw will cause unpredictable results when charging many cell phones. The charger will not rapid-charge phones expecting a true 1A capability. I've posted a picture of the counterfeit's innards.
If you device doesn't require much power, it may appear to you that this charger works adequately. However, beware: its internal circuitry is inherently unreliable and may pose a fire or shock hazard.

STAY AWAY.
This product is completely defective. It took a month for the item to arrive.
Here are the details. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Verizon. I purchased this charger after my cat chewed through my original.
When I plugged it in, the phone indicated that it was charging. That's good. But the screen started going funky and was completely unusable. When I unplugged the cable, the phone was back to normal. (See other reviews for this product, they experienced the same thing.)
And finally, the worst part is that after charging for 8 hours, my phone's battery level went up by 10%. Which makes the charger completely useless.
Note that the adapter says "Samsung" on it, and unless it's a really good counterfeit, it appears to be identical to my original. However, the cable that came with the adapter is different from the original. Other reviewers have suggested that the cable is to blame, and I am inclined to agree with them. So if you just need the adapter but have a good cable, then this product might be acceptable to you. (If you're willing to wait a *month*.)

Item arrived dead, not detected on computer as well as unable to charge from wall outlet. Also had the appearance of being previously used. Would not recommend.
