I bought this player a while back, and haven't had much time to play with it. I use it a few times a week ~ I wish I had more time, because it has so many features. It's very easy to use.. I have used it for music, videos, movies, voice recordings, and have messed around with the bluetooth feature. I have used ipods in the past, and the itouch, but I prefer this, the sound is awesome - and not that I care much, but not everyone and their brother has a P3 ... I saw a video for it on youtube, and was sold, bought it that day ~ Also - great display, and very cool animated butterfly, coffee cup, etc ...

I purchased this Samsung about 2 weeks ago and so far so good!! It was VERY easy to load my songs onto --- just had to sync it up with my Windows Media Player. I did not use the software it came with to load and organized my music. Nice sound --good little external speakers. I didn't realize it had this so it was a nice surprise for me!! I really just use this to listen to songs while I'm taking my daily walk so it works just fine for what I need it for. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple to use MP3 player --- even my 4 year old likes it!!

It was awesome at first, until the few little glitches started to happen. It started with the green screen to the mp3 shutting down or simply restarting itself...=\ it doesn't happen that often but it is annoying when it does that. Graphics are great, sound and other applications are also of great quality. Touch screen is easy to use and the little free and weird mini games in the mp3 were cute as well.
Overall, I'd give a 3.5~4. if it weren't for the few glitches I'd give it a 5/5!

I had been searching for a while for a really good MP3 player. This gave me everything I wanted and more. The touch screen can be tough to hit smaller buttons at times but overall the screen is great. The options are simple and work well. The price was good.

What a great device. Looks good and sounds even better. Great sound processing on top of it. Battery lasts a longtime. Screen is great too. Pretty easy to use. One thing on my wish list for the next evolution: please add codecs like FLAC for an even better sound.
Worth comparing them to Cowon's beautiful S9 or J3 (which play ALL files including FLAC's) as both Samsung and Cowon produce the best sounding MP4 and MP3 players.
Sound quality of this Samsung P3 beats Apple's iPods and Touch.

I purchased this MP3 Player almost a year ago to replace my Sansa Fuze. This player is heads and tails above the Fuze. Here's why:

1. The Samsung screen is a very solid glass. The Fuze plastic and prone to horrible scuffing.
2. The Samsung provides Blue tooth connectivity for wireless head phones.
3. The case is metal. The Fuze is pure plastic junk.
4. The Samsung sound is fantastic.
5. The battery life on the Samsung is far superior to the Sansa Fuze, in my experience, even with blue tooth enabled.

I had my Sansa Fuze for 6 months before it had to be replaced. Sansa took forever to replace it. The second unit failed at 6 months on the dot. The Sansa Fuze screen looked like hell after 2 months of use. On the flip side, I have used the Samsung heavily and the unit still looks like it did the day I received it in the mail.

This player is more expensive than the Sansa Fuze but the old adage, "You get what you pay for!", rings true.

The only negative I have is regarding the Rhapsody integration. You can download songs and playlists but the Channel feature is not available. I'm hoping that future software updates will provide this.

Really like the ease of use (expected from a Samsung)...also a fan of the widgets and customizable interface...the built in speaker comes in handy as well...battery life wasn't quite as advertised and proprietary USB connection are the only real downsides...in short: a very nice device for a very nice price!

I bought it because it claimed to be an organizer type as well as a media player. It had a great picture and sound but the software was over complicated. Not user friendly. Support did not help. They would send you to the software company and they software company would do the same. The directions were not helpful at all. I returned it after all.

This is a garbage because while i am walking with listening the power is automatically off.
