I purchased this cable for my sister who has a Samsung TL220 digital camera.

In the seller's description it states: "BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT CABLES. Samsung Camera Cables must be in a retail package with a UPC for it to be a genuine Samsung Product. Others are safe to assume to be counterfeits."

The cable arrived, and it was in BULK packaging (resealable plastic bag) and not retail packaging like the picture shown above. Also, the USB connector plug is supposed to have a sticker on it, as shown in the product image, with details like product number, or serial number, etc. That had been apparently torn off. No UPC. The cable also has some rub marks on the plastic which suggests it may not be brand new. This order was "fulfilled by Amazon", and sold by a 3rd party seller.

This is severely disappointing and Amazon needs to do better QA.

Indeed it's just a cable. We bought it because my daughter had lost her camera cable. It worked exactly as it was expected to.

The USB cable works fine for my camera, a Samsung TL205, but it's a lot shorter than I thought. According to this product title, it's 4 feet long, but in reality, it's only about 22.5 inches or ~1.87 feet long. Just a heads up for potential customers.
