Intuitive 3D HyperReal Engine optimizes 3D effects for lifelike visuals.
Clear, Lifelike 3D Effects with HyperReal Engine

The Samsung S27A750D 27-Inch 3D LED Monitor contains a 3D HyperReal Engine, which the company calls "brain-like technology" because it enables the monitor to optimize the color, contrast, motion, and 3D effects--resulting in crisp, lifelike 3D visuals.

Richer Colors with Ultra Clear Panel

The monitor's Ultra Clear Panel technology dramatically reduces microscopic light diffusion and minimizes glare. This yields a superb picture that is sharper and higher contrast, revealing deeper blacks and brighter colors.

Samsung's 100 Percent Photo Accuracy technology offers complete coverage of the sRGB color spectrum to display your digital photos and videos exactly as you remember them. Real 120Hz offers double the refresh rate of other models to further enhance the monitor's picture clarity. The results are exceptional sharpness and smoothness especially notable during action scenes and close-ups.

Features Eco Light Sensor reduces eye strain
Eco Light Sensor measures light in room and adjusts accordingly.
Real-Time 3D Conversion

The Samsung monitor includes a special 3D conversion feature that turns your favorite photos and videos into 3D at the push of a button. With the 3D depth-adjustment function, you can customize the 3D effects to suit your taste.

Features Reduce Power Consumption

Designed to reduce eyestrain as well as power consumption, the monitor features an Eco Light Sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the monitor to match your environment by measuring the intensity of light in a room. The sensor offers up to nine adjustable sensitivity and brightness settings so that you can enjoy a lighting environment that's most comfortable for you.

The monitor also includes an Eco Motion Sensor designed to detect whether or not someone is using the monitor. When you sit down at your desk, the Eco Motion Sensor automatically turns on the monitor. When you walk away, it shuts off the monitor after a few minutes, helping lower your energy bills. Using Samsung's built-in Energy Tree function, you can see how much energy you are saving.

Brighter 3D
Enjoy a brighter, more immersive 3D experience.
Optimal Image Quality from Any Angle with MagicAngle

Complete 3D Kit

A Complete 3D kit containing a pair of 3D monitor glasses and DDD's TriDef 3D gaming software is included with this Samsung monitor. Optimized to work with the panel backlight, the glasses let through twice as much ambient light as similar technology. Cons: No DVI port, No USB ports, No VESA mounts, only til's back 15% All Glossy finish, (Gamer's) 120hz ONLY on (DP) Display Port, If your video card has mini DP, you may want to buy (mini) DP to DP cable like I did, because I wanted a HI-quality v1.2 DP cable, NO adapters for FULL bandwidth and NO loss (just being picky) for HDMI cable I recommend v1.4 or better for deep color depth, Also..install DP/hdmi drivers from disk 1st, then go to Samsung.com and update your monitor drivers restart, and adjust your rez. also.. if you run 64 bit win7, you cant open owners manual to read specs on disc, just go to Samsung.com to view and print

PROS: This monitor is Awesome!! Beautiful display!! Fast 2ms response time, 120hz on DP only, includes full size DP to DP cable, Touch control base, black bezel is only 7/16th W x 1/8th D, outer clear bezel trim 1/16th W , Lots of color/contrast adjustments, Great ECO settings, good adjustable 3D depth, Great glasses! wide enough to fit over my full wrap glasses, (CR2025)Battery life rated 70hours?..will see about that!, No gohstting, will buy 2 more monitors soon for my EyeFinity setup!! glasses also work on new Samsung (3D) TV's, TriDef 3D software included only works on S23A750D or S27A750D modules, thanks for the vote!

My Spec: CPU: i7 920 OC 3.8ghz, RAM 12gb 1600, 2x 5870 in crossfire

FOR 2D: This is the best TN (maybe best out to date even compared to IPS) out there! - for gaming
After a lot of research I decided to go from a Apple Cinema Display 30 2560x1600 to this Samsung S27A750D 27 inch. To Be Honest: I didn't even look back, 120hz for gaming is something that you don't know your missing until you get it then when you get it you can never EVER go back. I was worried about the color loss going from IPS to TN but, this monitors color is simply outstanding. Best I have ever seen in a TN display. Even comparing to IPS this has deep colors that hold up next to IPS and even in the case of the Blues and Green are even deeper than the IPS panel. I was also worried about the loss of resolution going from 1600p to 1080p, and while I did miss the "real estate" on my desktop, I must say in games with all the great ways to do AA now a days you can't even tell the resolution difference. I would even go as far as to say the 1080p is better for gaming from a hardware perspective: I can't tell you how much better it is to run battlefield 3 max setting in 1080 @ 120hz with AA on, than 1600 @ 60hz and killing your PC to turn on AA, you would have to see it. Trust me, I like eye candy and I will spend money to get it, and this monitor out delivered the IPS monitor.

FOR 3D: Might Be Best 3D to date - if they fix the driver
There are different ways of doing 3D and this monitor supports all of them including Frame Sequential(FS): Which is the best way to 3D, IMO. I use ATI so Nvidia people might need to wait and see if you get support.
I am goin got break this down: When you use the HDMI you will want to use Side by Side(SBS) or Frame Sequential(FS).

Summary:

Pros:
-120Hz 2D (SMOOTH)
-3D is great, full 1080p, and no shutter issues
-Build Quality
-Bright, colorful, clear
-Comes with Tridef software

Cons:
-None as of now

This monitor is for people:

-Have Nvidia who want 120Hz and have a display port (rare)
-Have AMD GPU and want 3D and 120Hz (if you have a supported AMD card)

This monitor is NOT for people:

-Who intend to use 3D vision (some say there are hacks to make it work but IDK)
-Who do not have DP outputs
-Who have an outdated Video card

To fully utilize this monitor, you should have a display port. The only other input (HDMI) will not grant you 120Hz. Assuming you are like me (have a display port out or mini DP) and have a newer AMD GPU, you would be enthusiastic about owning a monitor like this. Let me give you my full first impressions.

Review:

The package was well packed together, but in my opinion, this was only the case for the monitor itself. The Glasses (inside of its own box inside of the larger box) was not attached to anything, free to fly around during shipping. It is not Amazons fault but the manufacturer. Assuming that the package wasn't thrown around like a doll, it should have had minimum "fling" but it made me a little worried.

The monitor was easy to set up, and was better looking than the pictures! The monitor is stunning on a desk, easily making all of my other displays look like toys, including my Asus monitors. This just looks great, and is amazingly thin! It doesn't feel like it will have any tipping problems, and sits well on my desk. One thing that may be of concern is desk wobble.

These should be recalled. The display port connection fails constantly. About once every 5-6 hours of use, the monitor will go black and require you to cycle its power to get the display working again. I own 3 of these monitors and they all exhibit this problem with the display port connection. Do some research before you buy and you will find hundreds of the same complaints all over the internet. Samsung will not fix this issue for me, I've spent hours and hours on the phone with them, and all they have done is repeatedly service\exchange the monitors but it never fixed the problem. I know it is not my own hardware because of the hundreds of people with the same problem with the same series of monitor. Fearing it may be my hardware I spent almost $1000 upgrading my video card and power supply which was pointless because there is an inherent hardware flaw in this monitor.
