Excellent Phone,Super Small, no problems at all! Love it!,

I have had this phone for at least a year and half, maybe almost 2. I'm surprised to see the lower ratings given by other users. It is SUPER small, which I love. Slips right into your pocket and is very light. The interface is easy to use- big phone book, lots of ring tones, tracks incoming calls, outgoing calls, etc. Text messaging easy to use- predictive T9 text makes it so simple once you figure it out. It doesn't have a camera or someother high tech stuff, but if what you want is a PHONE for making calls and not feeling like you have a rock in your purse or pocket- this lil' phone can't be beat. The battery holds up well, I rarely have a droped call. The external display shows time and incoming phone numbers when the phone rings. Call waiting is great- and there is call waiting ID. My husband got this phone for me and I didn't realize that it is so tiny in comparision to other phones, until I recently started shopping for another phone for my daughter. I think I'm going to go with this one again, as I know it will work well in our area, and the price has come way down from the over $200 that we paid nearly 2 years ago. It has web capability and IMing capability but I've never used it. In summary- I'm looking for another one because we like it so much- I haven't had a single problem with this phone in nearly 2 years!

I like my phones like I like my super-model walk offs: The first phone walks, the second phone imitates and innovates. Well, Samsung isn't imitating anyone with their innovation.
Whether you are teaching kids how to read good (and how to do other things good too), or if you're eugooglizing your best friends after a freak gasoline fighting accident, this phone will work for you. You'll never be late for a show, or a nice prime-rib of Micronesia dinner with Samsung's built in calendar. It even reminds you when to go to the daye spa. D-A-Y-E. So next time you have to choose a ridiculously, ridiculously good looking phone, choose this one.

I have had this phone for a year and had no problems. yesterday i accidentaly put it through the washing machine and guess what -- it still works! I am amazed. I like this phone and I like Cingular, I have had no problems with them whatsoever. I lot of my friends say they have heard bad things about them (but don't have any firsthand experience), but I have been very satisfied.

I've had this phone for several years. For a while after purchasing this phone I had quite a few problems with the connection breaking up and such. Cingular couldn't help me other even after exchanging the phone out. They told me at the time that it was the phone and not the service. As a result, I started shopping for another phone and wound up with the Motorola V551 which I've been using for over a year now. I like this phone, but not the size and weight, so recently I switched back to the Samsung 307 because it is so much smaller and easy to use. Well, guess what, the signal strength is far better than it was, and calls are as good as the Motorola, so it was Cingular all this time and not the phone. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone who is not necessarily interested in having a camera phone. An especially nice feature of this phone is how the numbers are enlarged on the screen when entered on the keypad. No more squinting to make sure you've dialed the correct number. The calendar with alert reminders is also a very nice feature. I am now entirely happy with the performance and features of this phone. I may never go back to the Motorola.

I have had this phone for 1.5 yrs. I am on my second phone because I thought there was a problem with the first one, but I soon realized with the second one, its just the phone. The phone is slow to keep up with you, you can dial a number and instead of the numbers showing up on the screen instantly, you have to wait for it to catch up with you. When you open the flip, the screen is black for a couple of seconds. I am not happy with the phone anymore, I thought it was soo great...small & cute....NOT worth it. Can't wait to get a different phone(might go back to Nokia)!!

Flip-open stopped working,

3 days after the warranty expired, the phone started to get stuck. And 3-4 more days later it stopped completely! Electronic part that was connecting the lcd to the phone was split in half due to over-usage, I assume. I have no idea how they design flip-open phones that brake due to that kind of usage!
Samsung said since the warranty exprired (3 days!) they will fix for $60. Cingular said I should buy a new one for $200. I am not doing any of that!

Nice design, however, problems with the lcd,
This review is from: Samsung S307 Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone)
I bought mine in March 2004. I dropped it twice, just while putting it into my pocket or purse and now there is a line across the lcd. Before I ever dropped it, there were times when the outside displays very dimly. I owned a nokia phone previously, I dropped it several times and never had a problem.

Cingular is deceptive!,
This review is from: Samsung S307 Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone)
My review is on Cingular. I bought a phone w/service and was told I could return for full refund and only charged for any air time used. THEY LIE. THE PHONE DID NOT WORK IN MY AREA AND I CANCELLED THE NEXT DAY. THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR ACTIVATION even though it never worked in my area. If you are uncertain you will keep the phone and service, DON'T BUY from Cingular. Amazon will also do nothing to reimburse.

I JUST BOUGHT A SAMSUNG S307 I HAVE T-MOBLE WHEN I PURSHASE IT I WAS TOLD MY SIMS CARD WOULD WORK WITH IT, BUT THEY LIED. THE PHONE NEEDS TO BE UNLOCKED AND IT SEEMS LIKE NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO DO IT. [...] SAMSUNG WILL NOT HELP ME BECAUSE THEY THINK THE PHONE IS STOLEN.
