This is the 2nd cord Ive bought, I lost the first. It works well and is a quick connect between your pc and phone. It can also be used as a traveling or replacement charger if you lost it. The only issue is, you need to have a program to let your cord transfer mp3's and files between your phone and PC, but its free!
BTW the program is called Samsung New PC Studio

I have a Samsung Alias 2 and wanted to be able to transfer my photos from my phone directly to my computer without using email. I found this cable at an extremely low price and ordered it. When I hooked it up I received a message I had to have the disc that accompanied it. Whoa, I had no such disc. When I contacted the seller I was told that this single cable is usually purchased as a replacement and that the customer usually has the disc. He was nice and refunded my purchase price and allowed me to keep the cable due to the confusion. Well, I can at least charge my phone from my computer....

If you purchase a cable of any sort make sure that it does not require additional components that you may or may not have. The seller may very well not have the component either.....

I thought I'd get a cheap copied cable for my Samsung t349 but was pleasantly surprised to get an original Samsung cable - usually [...] bucks on their site, the one I purchased was $[...] - mine was shipped free since I had spent >$25 from Amazon.
To use I just went to the Samsung site and downloaded the PC program - drivers all installed within Vista. Just set the phone for mass storage to change the info on the microSD card and then to modem mode to change the phone/sim card data - easy! Also charges the phone.
The product was the Samsung APCBS11UBE data cable.

A friend was at my mailbox when I received this item. She stated that her phone cannot take anymore pictures because the memory is full. She inquired as to what I had received, upon opening the package I discovered that it was the sync cable I had ordered. She asked how it worked, I told her what it was supposed to do; whereup she asked to borrow it. I have not seen the cable since. Therefore it is my quess that the cable works well.

Perfect data cable for the Samsung Alias 2. I had my own diver so I don't know if the included driver works.

I thought a USB cable would allow me to download and upload information between my computer and the cell phone. I was wrong. It only allows the user to charge the phone through the computer. That's it. I would return it except that it only cost a dollar, so it was a fairly painless lesson to learn.

Although it was advertised that this cable would charge the telephone, in fact it will not. That was the sole reason for my purchase.

No issues with shipping. Product works with data transfer from Alias 2 to computer w/ Samsung supplied data software, note: software not furnished w/ this cable, so no complaint, just being clear.

Price is right--Less than 2.00, including shipping.

Arrived within five days of order being placed.

Cable is about 3 feet long. Works fine.

Cable is branded as original Samsung cable. TMobile charges 14.99 for cable.

Why spend 15-20 dollars for a phone charger from your local provider (Verizon, etc.) when you can get a USB computer charger fior only a few bucks... I'm happy :D
