A very hip thing
Got this as a gift. Orange makes a statement. Simple operation without referring to the manual. Even cooler when you get into all the features (multiple exposures over variable times, macro mode for close-ups, great software for tranferring to PC and email, NTSC and PAL compatible). This is my first digital camera. For now it's everything I need.

Borders on being a toy.
You can (and should) do a lot better than this in a digital camera at this price. It has a rather low resolution, a fixed focus lens, no zoom, and no USB connectivity. Anyone interested in simple digital photography will very soon be looking for a more advanced camera, while the SDC-80 gathers dust in a drawer.
