But I still could not connect with my notebook (may be due to my lack of knowledge). I wish the package contain a guide to CD installation and use for people like me.

Maybe it was my computer which had a hard time adjusting to the new software, but the Samsung Pc Studio couldnt link with my Sync. The programs still worked but I could not establish the link with my phone. I used windows media to sync songs, pictures, and videos while I still used PC Studio to cut songs etc.
Maybe it was my computer, but either or this still was a good purchase.

At the beginning of the year, I purchased an unlocked, used, SGH-T519 (Trace) and SGH-A727. I ordered the cable and software based on the fact that it stated that these models were supported. I received the software with a a sticker stating that this is only good for the D807. Ignoring this, I installed it anyway. After installing the sofware on a Win XP, Win 7, and Win Vista platform. only the USB driver works; the software cannot read the phones via the USB cable link. I then added a bluetooth connection and, still, no luck as the software states that it will only communicated with the D807 altough the PC communicates flawlessly as a serial and DUN connection. The software simply does not want to communicate with the phones.

I have not contacted the seller as it has taken me a while to get to this point of troubleshooting and it is my fault for taking so long to troubleshoot this issue. Regardless, this is not what was advertised.

Buyer beware.

My sister-in-law-to-be broke the cord as soon as she plugged it in. It wasn't very durable for her, but it could have just been her. Who knows.

Purchased this product and was very disappointed as it would NOT CONNECT with my phone as it said it would. I did purchase this item through AMAZON.

I bought this to use with my A-707 and it didn't work. The cable was fine, the CD driver didn't work.

I never got this to work right. Most of it was probably due to the fact that I was running Windows XP 64 bit and the software didn't support that OS. I tried some 3rd party applications that work with the interface, but I never got it to connect to the phone. I no longer have the phone, so I never got to try it in Vista.

CD and cable arrived in a poorly designed package and the CD was broke in half.

cable works fine. CD does not have the driver to the phone Samsung SGH-A717, as advertised.

this product specifically listed my phone as one the software would work with. After installing it and then waiting hours for it to update via the web, the program said my phone was not supported.
